RIP Skywatch Madness
I was just reading another thread about what's going to happen to the Taken when Rise of Iron releases, and it made me realize that we're about to lose what amounts to my favorite PvE activity in Destiny.
If you've never tried it before, go to Skywatch in the Cosmodrome, and wait for a Warsat to drop. The resulting Warsat / Taken spawn / Urzok the Hated / invincible lvl8 Wizards / super-charged lemon bar Hive madness that follows is great fun. Deadly, but great fun. If you're quick enough, make sure you spawn the Taken Champion for what amounts to the hardest 5 minutes to survive in Destiny.
Bring a Raze-Lighter. You've been warned.
Anyone else going to miss that clusterpluck?

2 RespuestasAre we just going to lose the taken? I would still love the warsat along with that urzok asshole. I'm sure there will be a pegleg dreg equivalent (infected fallen to replace the taken).... at least I hope so. You are right though, a very tough situation to survive, especiall if you are by yourself or with randoms without experience. I've been effed in the A by that event more than a few times.

I went over there the other day while this was happening and once 4 RT hits from my Raze Lighter didn't even take down the shields of a level 7 knight I realized I was in the wrong neighborhood.

3 RespuestasWill definitely miss it. Happened to me earlier. There were 3 level 40s, a level 17 and a level 8 caught up in the madness. As soon as Urzok appeared he was obliterated by a tether and a bunch of Raze Lighters lol. The level 8 actually did surprisingly well, he supplied a few bubbles for us to take refuge in. After it was all over and calmness was restored we all waved at each other and went our separate ways.

It is great fun! Urzog is the most accurately named enemy in any game. Sneak up behind you and molly whop you into the dirt. It's a really fun event

It's funny to be doing Omnigul strike and as you pass between the buildings as that event kicks off and your fireteam turns left to fight. Hectic battle later you go back to the strike making it even longer but worth it. Lol.

Taken aren't my favourite enemy to fight but I'm at a point now where I can take the ultras down on my own, so I don't have to share my chances of exotics drops with anyone xD

Ive survived and completed all 3 twice, its only happened to me about 5 times or so, but the other times, I just ignored the zealot, y1 instincts have me going for the public event over the potential exotic engram

It's not uncommon to run into this event when running the daily where you have to raise the satellite. Last time I forgot I was doing a mission and hung out for about 20 minutes in sheer shooting madness.
