Probably because Destiny is so feature-barren it requires new content to keep you playing, because it's not good enough to stand on its own legs, imo.

Most games get played 30-100 hours then on to the next one. The reason people complain destiny is lacking content is because it's good enough to get people playing hundreds to thousands of hours. If someone played destiny for 100 hours they wouldn't be complaining of nothing to do.

I disagree. And anything based on hours played isn't really a good comparison. Especially when 100% based on anecdote and no factual sources.

There aren't any facts more reliable than my own and my friends experiences. The only other fps that we played for over 100 hours was borderlands 2. That was for around 180-200 hours. We've played destiny over 2000 hours. They're doing something right.
