Stop Bringing Back Old Gear!
I have a collection of year 1 gear i use in crucible because it's rare and good-looking. Now, with taken king and rise of iron, everyone gets all of this gear. This is completely unfair and bungie is spitting in y1 players faces.
Bungie should only let players who have finished year 1 moments of triumphs have year 1 gear in years 2-3 (excluding raid gear) this is needed because these days the best gear is just getting handed out like conspiracy theory or hawksaw and this trend needs to stop.
Please bungie i just want good looking gear to be actually rare, Long tomorrow chest is a good start, now make it happen in rise of iron.
edit: also a way for year 1 players to ascend their old gear, for people who haven't completed MoT (because trek)

But no, many of us want to be able to wear our old gear again without our Light levels taking a huge dive. The old gear was always better looking. With each DLC or expansion, the gear designs become worse, and over time, because our options are so limited, we eventually end up all looking the same, so many of us miss wearing out old gear. Bringing back all the old armor gives us many more options for personalized customization. It's selfish to say they shouldn't bring them back because you want to feel special for having them sitting in your Vault like an old trophy. Allowing only Year 1 players to upgrade their old gear if they have Moments of Triumph is a flawed concept for multiple reasons. They may have lost their account, moved to another console, deleted their old gear to make room in their Vault, never completed their Moments of Triumph, etc.

Been here since the beta. I didnt save my year 1 gear and find the chance of getting it back very nice.

1 RespuestaI actually support this. I saved my old gear as a reminder of the old days and a trophy of my newbie days of Destiny. I'm going to cringe seeing Y3 Christmas newbies wearing the same armor.
