It really says something when you can look at the majority of the community's raid completions and VOG or CE have more completions than kings fall.
its cause kings fall sucks compared to VOG and CE
14 RespuestasEditado por marcran75: 8/14/2016 1:10:48 AMPeople have less KF completions because weak players can't be carried through like they could in Y1. Just because you don't like KF doesn't mean it sucks.

7 RespuestasVog>kings fall>crota Crota was worst raid, filled with glitches, cheeses, and was easy without them. Too easy, you could carry people. I knew people who couldn't... scratch that wouldn't learn how to do it cause they knew they could just do nothing and be carried.

2 RespuestasOr there are far more variables than just that... For the record yes, I agree that VoG (and just VoG) was better than King's Fall, but there's far more to VoG having more completions. The primary reason is that VoG has been out for nearly 3 years whereas KF has only been out for just under a year. There's also the fact that they've made the loot drop system a little better and allows for more loot to drop. This means people got to the level cap slightly faster when compared to trying to get to level 30. Also... Ascendant Materials........... More reasons too.
-
Hmmm. Where are these stats at? Not individual stats but those of the active community.
-
Complete opposite here, but that's due to King's Fall being the only meaningful endgame for a much longer time than either Vault or CE.

Editado por Astraeus007: 8/14/2016 3:51:09 AMVoG is still my favorite raid. The only raid where everyone absolutely just had to run to get all the great raid weapons and gear... The other two, not every raid loot item was a "must have" in my humble opinion. Plus... All the extra time all us year 1 vets explored the depths and every nook and cranny of VoG for multiple reasons... Those were good times.
-
King's Fall is almost 100% just following the pattern and doing your role. It takes out the fun when there is no effort in trying to survive. That's what I like about VoG. You're surrounded by enemies and have to dodge bullets and take out snipers while being bombarded by everything the Vex has.
-
5 RespuestasIt's because kings fall weeds out the scrubs.
-
Not only is kings fall longer and harder but it just isn't as fun as year 1 raids because there aren't any secret passages or breathtaking abysses, also the mechanics seem really forced, as if they were going for difficulty rather than fun. If you think back to the year one raids, there aren't any checkpoints with whack ass mechanics, but in kings fall, especially oryx and daughters, it's just like jump in this specific order, kill stuff in this specific order, dps the boss, go stand in some goo, run around in circles, kill this mother -blam!-er, repeat. Finally, the loot from kings fall is shit and is just used as infusion fuel, and you don't need to raid to get to 335, so there is no incentive to even do the raid.
-
There are only 2 reasons for this.. 1) raid weapons amd armor were not as good as VoG or CE weapons 2) the loot system was reworked .. It is not that hard to get different weapons and armor from King's fall while you could do 30-40 VoG raids and still don't get that one weapon you wanted

Editado por What I Look Like: 8/14/2016 3:06:08 AMI started raiding casually y1, and stopped when I had all the legendaries I wanted after researching about them. Got em all pretty quickly too, except I never got Fatebringer. No biggie, seeing as Vision of Confluence is pretty much my spouse at this point. Y2? Did Normal KF once, decided I hated all the legendaries (armor and weapons, tbh) and haven't done it since. Also.. only raid legendary I really liked was the sniper. Didn't get it the first time, never went back again. Depending on things like the Hunter chest piece and the hand cannon Y3 could see absolutely no raid time. Just irks me at this point, fighting through checkpoints and dealing with control freaks every wipe. Don't wanna hear that shit when I'm playing games, that's my down time you're bitching all over.

6 RespuestasKings Fall weapons are blah
-
That's definitely my case, as well. They filled the raid with terrible rewards. I have no Fatebringer or Black Hammer to chase. Not as much incentive to play.
-
My limited experience with it is that I didn't like it for a few reasons. - The rewards are not especially compelling - The mechanics are pretty unforgiving. - long unfun platforming sections. I like platforming, but it has always felt cheap in this game.
-
The weapons are trash. You can purchase better weapon rolls from the tower than drop from the raid... Unless you are someone who wants to grind for light level, then what's the point?
-
3 RespuestasMaybe because vog and Ce have been around longer than kf
-
1 RespuestaThis post is stupid. That is all.
-
That's because VoG and Crota's End are easier...not because King's Fall isn't good. I love the team concept of this raid and how everyone has to pull their weight. Some people can't, and that's why you see people with 24 or less KF raid completions...
-
3 RespuestasYeah because kings fall is trash. Rewards are underwhelming so why continue to do it?
-
I do VoG and CE more nowadays than I do Kings Fall. Got a second vex two days ago, and finally got a Necrochasm.
-
It's because the first two raids rarely dropped anything and you don't need to run kings fall now unless you want to get to 335 "quickly"
-
King's Fall is the best one IMO. VoG and Crota are just shorter and easier, that's why people play them more or at least have more completions in them.
-
1 RespuestaTtk is trash. Kings fall is trash. Everything is nerfed. Good games sometimes go bad.
-
Because the struggle to get max light in the game didn't depend on a pair of boots dropping
-
It's because CE and VoG are stupid easy now
