I've never "accidentally" dismantled anything. I still can't believe this is an issue, ya know, since it takes 5 seconds of holding the button, and well, I have eyes.....

It takes a second to delete 500 armor materials. It takes 4 or 5 seconds to delete an insignificant bounty. It is an issue.

It doesn't take five seconds to dismantle legendaries.

It still takes enough time to realize "hey, I'm deleting this". It's an issue I guess if you're a moron.

It doesn't take more than one second to delete a legendary weapon and why would you look at the name while dismantling it if you're believe that you're dismantling the right one? You could have accidentialy looked at the wrong weapon because of sleepyness or because you were in a hurry. It's not something that happens often, but it happens. If no one experienced this you wouldn't see these kind of posts. Do you think Bungie implanted the "locking" mechanism just for fun? They spend time on it because it was an issue.
