It's suppose to be a melting pot with experienced and inexperienced players, experienced players can face other experiences or inexperienced players, inexperienced players cannot become better without facing these experienced players.
Either take the heat or get out of the kitchen.
It's just more brutal now because of the state we are in.

What data do you have to back this claim up?

Dang, you showed him! Lol

Just play trials, and you'll see players having easy or difficult matches. Not everyone is going to be on the same tier. ~TheGreatNike

I went full tilt mode so as expected I played like a trashcan. I should have played when I was calm tbh :(
-
Yes clearly and thats why its broken, IMO. But you said "its supposed to be a melting pot" which seems to be just your opinion as well. My point was "who says its supposed to be a melting pot"?
-
You can tell easily by observation. A high skill team has an equal chance to face a low skill team or a high skill team in their first match. Granted, after about 5 wins all of the low skilled teams would have lost already and the mid tier teams will be losing. Its supposed to be a tournament where the best of the best get to win. Or at least if you prove you can beat 9 teams. Its only competitive in the sense that it is a multiplayer event like Crucible. It isnt the ranked playlist everyone seems to think it is.
-
I am not hear really to argue about how it should be harder or easier. If this was a true tournament wouldn't their be some sort of class or rank system. I mean this is like putting NBA, college basketball, high-school basketball, all in a match making system and calling it a tournament. And in the after math you get people wanting it easier, but the people on the top may have it easier they don't want it to change. But they also don't want everyone else to have what they have. If we did have some sort of sbmm they don't want to run only against people that make it a challenge for them. It is what it is, just quit playing if you don't like it or practice and maybe get better that's really your only 2 options. Bungie is releasing this next update and is pretty much done with this game. All the focus will be put on Destiny 2 so let's hope they get that game right, and make it badass. May your light carry you through the darkness guardians.

Im not arguing for it to be easier. I go to the Lighthouse almost every week, over 80 counter flawless runs, Im just saying it isnt the ranked tournament everyone thinks it is. People want a tournament where people of each skill bracket get a chance to go to the Lighthouse, but that is not what this is. Thats a completely separate tournament which would probably be a feature in some ranked playlist mode
-
Its not a ranked play list and thats my biggest issue with it. I've also had my 9th and final match before be the easiest.
-
Well, like I said, it isn't a ranked playlist, so we shouldn't treat it like it is.
-
Trials is retarded. Its a bunch of streamers and sweaty kids thinking that they are good for beating a bunch of scrubs in a randomly matched playlist. In no way is it competetive.
-
There will always be words of hate against the top players who ein against the lower skill players so easily on a regular basis. You have to remember that this is the nature of the Trials of Osiris. If you're not good, you get whooped. If you are good, or if you think you are, you have to prove yourself. Like i said before, it is only competitive in the sense that it is a multiplayer event and you are competing for a win. Like i also said before, it isn't the fair, ranked-by-skill tournament everyone thinks it is. So drop that idea. Treat it like the Trials it is: a pool of players playing against each other.

It's my opinion of what trials is and should be. A melting pot full of players of all skill, the ones who are worthy will go to the lighthouse. ~TheGreatNike

Yah so basically not competetive at all.

I never said it was competitive. ~TheGreatNike
