I can't be the only one who wants this..
Straight to the point; I can't be the only one who misses class items being cosmetic, mainly because as a hunter, that allowed me to wear the infamous makeshift scarf. I doubt this will ever get into the game, but I can't be the only one who wants to either have the ability to turn (greys, greens, blues) into legendaries so we can wear them again? At the very least I feel like class items should not require light level anymore, since there are so mant cool marks, cloaks and even bonds out there. I can't be the only one who misses that damn scarf... Right?
EDIT: Just saying.. I would even buy it if they sold the default class items in the eververse.. (Hunter Scarf, Titan Sash, Warlock Bond)

1 RespuestaI don't understand people's beef with this, it adds more to the setup having them be relevant. There are plenty of legendaries u can choose from and make them 335. I like it personally.

2 RespuestasThat's why I wear the srl cloak. It's the only new cloak that let's you go hoodless. Just wish we could turn off the banners without having to use the default shader, or that the banners would change color with shaders. Hopefully thats fixed with RoI. Although I kinda doubt it. they said they'd make it so class items changed with shaders but for some of the cloaks we have that defeats the purpose, like the flayer mantles.

I would. They did say ALL year 1 class items are coming back except for the old raid ones. Maybe they will be back

I have been screaming that idea at Bungie since the beginning of the game. Allow items to be built upon. The whites can be upgraded to greens. Greens can be upgraded to blues. Blues to purples. Of course it would require a change on how item perks work. I propose allowing the user to customize the item perks, the item only has so many slots available for use. The user would then have to grind for perks and not weapons. Would be cool.

19 RespuestasEasier solution: Give players Vanity slots for armor. You don't have to re-design anything, you don't have to make so weird arduous task for players to upgrade. They just put the items in the slot and Voila it over-rides the look of the armor they have. This would instantly make all armor relevant once more.

To me it doesn't really matter, there are higher things on my list that I wish they would change first.. starting with those damn crucible packages! Seriously, I must have opened close to 100 now, how have I not gotten a single longbow yet?!?!

4 Respuestasi wear it a lot in non-level advantages stuff. it is a really nice little scarf. the SRL cloak is very similar. two tiny entrails on the left and right being the whole cloak. unfortunately never got an SRL cloak, otherwise i would wear it all the time

I'm really hoping the addition of shaders working on class items won't ruin the way my season of ages mark looks with my Titan. I think my Titan looks perfect as is hopefully shaders on marks will be toggleable.

Good news. Kinda. All class items are coming back. Except the VOD and CE ones. Shaders will finally effect them again in Y3.
