When you hear the word 'Agility' what do you think of? Speed. So why doesn't agility boost movement speed? It would buff Hunters, slightly nerf Titan skating and War locks would be slightly affected. I mean, who the hell uses an Agility build? It would also buff Lightweight as no longer would it be ignored. It could buff raid weapons since they all have it.
EDIT: Ignore the speed part.

4 RespuestasWhich is more agile: a mongoose or a freight train? Which is faster?

1 RespuestaTitans are the fastest class, all the while taking 10-20 more damage to die. Titan master race.
I'm not happy about this
All this talk of agility and speed being Two different things, I see through it all. At the end of the day it's just a bunch of titan mains trying to maintain they're unfair advantage over the other classes. I don't see how you can argue this to be fair. You move much faster and take much more damage to die. Fundamentally backwards when compared to every other video game ever.

Do not assume what I think (jk). When I think agility, I think nimbleness. Sure sprinting speed is a factor of agility, but it is not the defining parameter. Agility is the ability to quickly avoid obstacles while maintaining a forward (or otherwise) motion effectively (dodging people in a crowd or jumping over obstacles). Parkour is agility, the 100 yard dash is not.

4 RespuestasThe classes need to be reworked in general. A Hunter is supposed to be the agile class so should always be a little faster than the other classes with the same stat. And titans should be the tank class but suffer a little in the speed dept. It's crazy to watch a Titan out run a hunter or be so fast when charging you that you can do nothing to avoid a shoulder charge. I just think all the classes should have a risk vs reward stat the makes them feel more different.

Agility is your jump height more than your actual speed (but it is part of speed). Changing agility wouldn't do much for titan skate since it uses a mechanic that has to do with jumping. Btw if you use the right set up both hunters and warlocks can be as fast. Agility in rpgs (at least the older ones that I know of) was basically part of your dodge, and speed was how fast you can attack again.

10 RespuestasUmmm....but agility isn't speed. Also, agility is fine. Go up against a Bladedancer using radiant dance machines and MIDA and tell me it needs to be better. One of the most frustrating pvp encounters in the game. Stand still you coward.
-
2 RespuestasAgility doesn't mean speed, idiot. That's why it's not called speed. If you're more agile, then turning and jumping comes more naturally.
-
I've completely switched my hunter build from agility to armor cuz agility doesn't do shit. It's bull shit
-
Agility and speed may not be the same thing but having a Titan with very high recovery and armor be able to also be the fastest class in the game seems a little strong to me and having the class that's supposed to be the most agile not be even half as fast as Titans seems unfair
-
Editado por Powerath: 7/27/2016 11:31:43 PMHunters deserve an agility buff after that recovery nerf for blink. Titans and Warlocks can obtain a great Armor/Recovery set up unlike Hunters. Armor/Recovery is noticeable. Agility is not.
-
When I think agility I don't think speed. Because that is not what it means.
-
It's too bad agility and speed aren't the same thing.

3 RespuestasSee, people are going to lash at you, saying "*insert very specific situation here*" and that it doesn't need to be changed. But it does. Hunters are slower than the other classes. Titans can Titan skate, and unless hunters are using bones of Eao, (a specific situation) they can't outrun Titans. Agility is Speed and maneuverability. Hunters need a higher base jump and a jump that gives more of a burst rather than air time. Titans shouldn't be the fastest class in the game. Hands down. A Titan with the highest armor/recovery build is still really fast.

Editado por Orpheus49: 7/27/2016 10:48:17 PMThere's a reason the fire stingray is the fastest, and the blue falcon is the most agile... oops wrong game
-
5 RespuestasEveryone can skate if you use controlled jump. Warlocks you press jump right as you land and just keep doing that. Titans triple tap jump. Hunters do the same but it's better with bones of eao.
-
I'm currently running max Agility/Recovery Bladedancer with 'Boots of Meao' (:)) and MIDA and Arc Havoc Pigeon combined with Agility buff after Arc double kill I've gotta tell u, I'm literally flying across the map ;) so yeah, Agility actually is a thing :)

1 RespuestaWho the -blam!- uses a Recovery build? No seriously, ask yourself. The answer, NO ONE. Because everyone is using Max Armor.
-
3 RespuestasEditado por G: 7/27/2016 11:09:45 AMI feel like Agility should do much more than it does right now. Agility should work like this... The more agility you have, the faster you sprint, the faster you strafe left and right, the higher you jump, the further you slide, and the faster you move while crouched. A max Agility build shouldn't make a major, game changing difference, however. Though it should make a difference nonetheless when compared to a build with the least amount of agility possible.
-
I run an ability build on my hunter and Titan skating is the most annoying thing. In my opinion when Bungie made the Titan class they intended for you to sacrifice some agility to be a tank and they made the hunter sacrifice armor for agility. Titans out running hunters is -blam!-ing bull shit.
-
Titan is like a semi truck. Hunter is like squirrel. If a squirrel is crossing the street..busy chasing peanuts..get hit by the truck...it's the Shoulder Change. The truck is faster than Squirrel..but.. try to kill a Squirrel with truck if you can...lol
-
Having agility should activate backflips.
-
So having a high base speed isn't enough satisfaction for ya smh complaining birds lmaooo
-
2 RespuestasIm an agility built player... Check my warlock and hunter.

When I hear agility I think of jumping and dodging. Though I agree the agility stat is pretty minor. Then again all 3 stats have minor benefits.
-
I think it's fine. The way I see it: Agility: your ability to avoid being hit and taking damage (not speed around the map) Armour: how much damage you can take before you die Recovery: how quickly you restore your full health after being damaged. They complement each other as they are. I don' thing agility should enable wall riding or climbing or anything like that.
