Yesterday during Iron Banner I ran into a suspected lag switcher. After reporting him using the report tool I decided to do something different. I found what clan he belonged to and voiced my suspicions to the clan leaders. The clan leaders later got back in touch with me told me they had been having problems with the individual about suspected cheating and that they would be removing him from the clan. They also offered their services for a raid or PoE.

7 RespuestasUgh your going about it all wrong, your supposed to post an angry rant about how bungie is worthless and explain that everyone who is killing you is cheating, then your supposed to delete destiny, then reinstall it in a few days because your friends want to raid and you actually kind of missed playing.

22 RespuestasEditado por Mmm Toasty: 7/26/2016 6:05:17 PMLol, once a guy made of fun of me and smokers. He was a stupid little kid. Which I don't tolerate. Looked up his clan, it stated how they were accepting of everyone and disrespect in any regard was not tolerated. Messaged the clan leader and sold him that he was offensive to smokers. Which some of his clan members had smoking names, and by their description of the clan, he needs to "destroyed" as they stated it. Sent him the forum link, which was a post of his, about stupid smoking names. He messaged me back saying he would be removed from the clan and invited me to his clan. I went right back to the forum after he was removed from his clan, and wrote under all our argument comments, don't -blam!- with me again. I completely sold the guy on how offensive he was. He really wasn't that bad. I really didn't need to do it. But he said something I found irritating. Lol Edit: what no one seems to understand is the clan he belonged to, was described to be all about respect for everyone. Everyone's lifestyles and even opinions. Violators would be destroyed. Obviously a mature clan in some ways. This kid was being disrespectful in his posts and comments. So I shared the post with his clan leader. His leader decided to kick him for his own actions. That is how life works. Just because bungie decides to let cheaters walk while people who complain about cheating can be banned on the forums, doesn't mean make it right in every aspect of the community. I didn't make the kid say what he did.

Good idea!

2 RespuestasAnd this, my friends, is how you deal with cheaters. Whining on the forums doesn't do anything. This however, works wonders. Good on ya, guardian. Well done

4 RespuestasIf I ever find a cheater and I have proof he's cheating somehow, I put it up on my clan's group chat. 100+ members now ready to report him

1 RespuestaIt wasn't a lag switch. But kudos on the extra effort to ruin his day!

5 RespuestasHmmm, interesting... I hope he wasn't innocent, sounds like he wasn't... I don't think I've encountered any real cheaters, just red bars... I've quit reporting them for bad connection, now I just report them as unfriendly and unhelpful... I've heard doing so decreases your chances of being matched with them in the future... I have to say my quality of gameplay has increased dramatically in the last week I've been testing it... I've yet to run into someone I reported a second time...
