I want real stats that tell you exactly what you're perk or stat is doing for you. This game is so littered with vague stats and upgrades you can't make a decent judgment on how effective a perk or stat will be.
Look through all your weapons and skill trees and see how many vague references you can find.
*Increases Duration - How much longer?
*Chance to generate - 25%? 10%?3%?
Chance to return
Chance to stun
*Throw more Hammers (how many more and how many did I get in the first place?
*Regenerate Over Time - how long is that?
*+2 Agility (my favorite) - is this good? Is this based on a scale of 1-10? 1-50? I need a better baseline to judge if it's worth it or not...
Give us actual numbers and information please!

9 RespuestasThanks for the feedback. I will let the devs know you would like more details about how perks and abilities work in the future.

2 RespuestasMeh. Just make it so that firefly and outlaw proc every single time I get a headshot kill, and make it so firefly stops crashing the game and I'll be just fine. I'm not a min-maxer, so I could give a shit about the numbers as long as I notice a difference.

4 RespuestasWhile the features you have mentioned are common place in a lot of games, usually RPG's they are simply beyond Bungie's current capabilities. While Destiny has elements of several different genre of games,Rpg's,FPS,mmo's,co-op. It's amazing how many common place features were left out. Matchmaking, optional or otherwise, trading, the ability of proximity based communication, actual stats that represent your health, armor, damage and so on as well as buff or penalty percentages. This is because while the talking heads at Bungie love to expound on what a unique adventure Destiny is,it is in fact a very generic and homogenized game. The A I is weak, the patrols and Strikes can be done in your sleep, weapons are no different from what you would find in any FPS. With the exception of Fusion Rifles and the HardLight. Which actually seem like they would be weapons of the future and products of a golden age. Armor designs are bland, customization is practically non existent aside from shaders. Half of which are not worth wiping your ass with. Finally in terms of the designers themselves. Well they have shown over and over a lack of understanding in what players want and a basic comprehension in how to solve problems plaguing the game from the beginning. Lag in the Crucible, welcome to the year 2016 and peer to peer match connections, wtf you cheap -blam!-s. Weapon balance, just separate the two modes and stop feeding us bullshit about how we could not possibly comprehend that our weapons might perform differently between the two modes. Anyway I think you get the point. Bungie is a company treading water giving as little as possible to keep milking a customer base through hyped and anorexic content.

1 RespuestaEven without scrolling down I can predict Cozmo's reply. Something about thanks and feedback and passing it on.
-
They don't think we can handle the hard numbers. That should be obvious from the shit bar graph for weapon stats.

2 RespuestasIt's so we experiment and discover their uses ourselves.

Bump bump bumpity bump In fact, can the devs kindly bin all perks which have "chance" in their description. I don't know why the devs seem to have such a huge RNG fetish. There's enough in this blowout of a game as it is

Bungie likes it because it makes things seem better than they really are. The Heart of Praxic Fire was an incredibly sought after chest piece, until people actually tested it and found that the amount of extra grenades isn't really that special.

5 RespuestasNot knowing is what makes this game magical. It's kinda like belief in Judaeo-Christian-Islam theology, where you have to accept that their deity exists on a faith basis, yet deal with the duplicities of the sub-tier factions of each, never really knowing how it all works, a lot like Luck in the Chamber.
-
Bungie knows that if they explain how the perks are supposed to work, then you'll be able to realize that they're broken. So if you don't know how it's supposed to work in the game, then you can't tell if it's working as "intended". Which also means, that's they probably don't really know, they don't work, or if you knew how limited they were, you'd get pissed and want them to change it. What you don't know, doesn't hurt you right? .....or does it?
-
The stats have been taken!
-
I shouldn't have to rely on 3rd-party sites to search for simple stats like these. Maybe Bungie doesn't even know the specific stat numbers. Or they do but it'll take too much work for them. Either way I don't understand why buffs & debuffs & such are so vague.
-
they can't tell you when they don't know themselves with all the nerfs they actually haven't a clue what % of range range finder gives or how much aim assist eye of the storm gives you because from the meta year 1 weapons they could but know with nerf this and that its all gone out the window all that programming gone because they can't rewrite it
-
2 RespuestasAll this information is out there because dedicated guardians spent hours play testing. That's DESTINY, that's what it is. Just like the Raid doesn't come with a "How-To" manual from Bungie. The players make the manuals.
-
The only way I see this as anything of an issue is if perk varied from gear to gear or could vary in some RNG fashion for identical items.
-
15 RespuestasThey already said numbers frighten kids so they left them out
-
Yeah, they really need to have more clarity on what the perks actually do. Hell, even some perk descriptions, like the ones for Counterbalance and Rodeo, are vague or misleading.
-
Stats, like phat stacks... I seem to remember a post with that title, but felt this is as good a place as any to use such a golden phrase. Cheers to whoever came up with that! Bungie, we want stacks of phat stats...
-
I agree. I believe armor, recovery, and agility are on a base of 0-10.

Editado por antiviper80: 7/19/2016 4:07:08 PMSometimes in my head I saw this problem in my head but I kinda got used to it, but I don't understand why they can't say actually what their trying to say instead of saying stuff like Voidwalker abilities last longer.
