Time to take a smooth ride back down memory lane.
Let nostalgia sweep over you like the cool darkness of an autumn night.
I sorely miss the summoning pits. Everyone complained how it was too tedious and simply the world's greatest bullet sponge, but something about it I liked...maybe I'm just a masochist.
What do you miss?

Nightfall being worth it. And getting the xp buff. Actually chasing stuff. When no one cares about PvP so it wasn't nerf town all the time.

Posts full of optimism for the future rather than longing for the past

The fact that the game got dumbed down horrendously compared to what it was. Things are way too easy now. Need 20 relic iron for an upgrade . Go get it then. A great chance to try out some new weapons you've not used yet or a different subclass you never use normally. Not now. Now you just buy everything.

I miss doing the thorn bounty... Killing xyor the unwed was so much fun.
-
-
i miss the guns (fatebringer, the vex etc...) and the raids.

When completing a raid actually meant something

2 RespuestasI miss year 1. Just all of it

A fun crucible experience

I miss the Vendor's having good rolls on their weapons and how each faction had specific stats. Dead Orbit: Disc & Str New Monarchy: Int & Str Future War Cult: Int & Disc Allowed me to plan out my armor and balance my stats to my playstyle and make my characters feel different. Now...its more random. I presently cannot balance my Hunter's stats like I want to. Titan...I have no idea yet. He was originally a Loot Mule. =/ Oh... I miss not having Taken spawn every 10 seconds. Damn roaches of space they are.

1 RespuestaWho remembers the devil walker bounty?

People not complaining about every single -blam!-ing thing in this game... Oh wait, nvm.
-
People not complaining about everything. .

Miss the extra rounds my perfect Jolder's Hammer used to have with Field Scout. I miss having enough ammo to go Rowdy Roddy Piper on a room full of enemies and save my friends' collective bacon while that beast chug-a-chugged through 50 rounds, pause to slap a new mag in and chug-a-chug through another 50 just for the hell of it. If I ran low I had Icebreaker to fall back on at least.

Vault of Glass Nightfall rewards/flames Elemental Primary Weapons

Meeting new peeps on cosmodrome and teaming up (Those peeps I met in the first few weeks are still mates now. I hope newcommers see each other patrolling and do the same thing!). Raiding for fun rather than chore (seems we just do challenge mode nowadays). Those rare raid guns kept us going back weekly. Also i know the grind and levelling up was tedious yr1 but now it feels a bit too easy.

Using a multitude of weapons that aren't Hung Jury.

1 RespuestaEditado por Guardian0346: 7/15/2016 4:49:44 PMThorn, suros and vex Pre Nerf in crucible. Blue flaming heads and going back to orbit in nightfall. Loot cave. Fatebringer, voc. Raid weapons were worth grinding for not only because if elemental Primaries but all of them were a little OP and actually worth getting.

Pretty much all of year one.

Exotics that dropped from engrams when Rahool decrypted them. Seeing guardians with full raid gear or rare weapons and striving to want to earn what they had.

Year One.
