Day/Year 1 players, what do you miss most?
Time to take a smooth ride back down memory lane.
Let nostalgia sweep over you like the cool darkness of an autumn night.
I sorely miss the summoning pits. Everyone complained how it was too tedious and simply the world's greatest bullet sponge, but something about it I liked...maybe I'm just a masochist.
What do you miss?

Fast paced PVP, having hope for the game, being amazed by seeing a nova bomb the 2nd day of the beta

[b][i][u]FUN[/u][/i][/b] Fun is what I miss. - Corrective Measure - Vex Mythoclast (before & after needed nerf) - Original Thorn - Exotics were useful - Exotics weren't just drawbacks - Everyone wasn't such a damn try-hard - Raiding was exciting & wasn't completely[b][i]FORCED[/i][/b] upon you. - You could solo if you wanted & it was challenging. - Servers were better (explain that, because we have less players now). - Things were new, now it's 'kill these guys cuz they aren't you'. - [i]NIGHTFALL REWARDS WERE GOOD!!![/i] - Upgrades to weapons made a difference. [spoiler]Test this: 4th Horseman. "Upgrade" the range. There's no difference at all. [/spoiler] - If you liked a weapon you'd use it just because you'd use it. [spoiler]Nerfs ruined that. So now we have 'Meta' times. An argument could be made for Suros Regime, but that's the only Meta there really was. That and shottys [b][i]AFTER[/i][/b] Bungie decided to murder Fusion Rifles now absolutely no reason.[/spoiler] [b][i] BUNGIE, YOU RUINED YOUR OWN GAME!!![/i][/b]

I miss the old weapons and iron banner armors. Also the phopho strike along with the servitor strike.

Alot but the most would have to be between: -Corrective Measure -Elemental primaries - The Nightfall being [b]The Nightfall![/b] - The Nightfall's Flaming head. This little cutesy version of the Nightfall is boring and just not fulfilling. Plus it gave them an excuse to let you get shit like ghost shells and even less strange coins than before. Saw someone only get 3 strange coins. Like really?

No you are right to miss the Summoning Pits, it was the best Strike from Year 1. The most annoying Strike from Year 1 for me was The Nexus I hated it because one you got to the boss people would leave for some reason and since a Minotaur comes behind you to push you out the hole in the wall you were forced to face the boss yourself.

Fast primary kills alongside great shotguns and snipers and out of this world fusions . Combine that with fast movement and superfast kill times made one of the best games ever. Then the nerf bat came and we are left with this.

When Exotics were actually useful. Yknow.... before the nerfs when almost all Exotics were awesome & it was actually difficult to choose what you wanted to use because they were all awesome. Now, they're just sad

20 RespuestasIn all seriousness, I liked it when people were shunned upon asking for a sniper nerf. I hated the sniper shotguns, but I think I hate the sniper complaints more. They're both pretty easy to counter, and it's easy to use a shotgun running like a headless chicken.

Y1 crucible especially Y1 trials... In Y1 it was a mode you could play for fun with some friends now its... a mess...

I miss the huge magazine Corrective Measure got from field scout.

The excitement from an exotic dropping during the raid or after a crucible match it felt so much more gratifying when i had an exotic drop Now with three of coins in like meh another exotic

I miss doing VOG and Crotas end when the gear was actually useful. I also miss hawkmoon before year 2 ruined it.
