Well, jokes on YOU elitists.
So, over the weekend I did something I've never done before. I went to LFG for trials partners. (Wait, it gets better) I sent multiple invites and had countless people join my party to chat and ask if they wanted to do some trials. Most of them had came in asking my ELO. Now, I understand ELO is a pretty good way to gauge a players skill in Destiny. As well as KD. I don't have the best ELO because I don't always play with the best players that 9-0 every weekend. I usually try to help my friends. My ACTUAL friends. They're not elitists. They're not the best. Hell, I'M not the best, but I can 9-0 every weekend with the right team.
Long story short, these elitist joined my party and quickly took to DTR and trials report. (I can't blame them). But all of them said I WASN'T good enough. Yeah, it isn't the best thing to hear, but I know I'm good enough for smooth 9-0 runs. I used to help people to the light house every weekend. (I don't anymore, work gets in the way of trials help). After about 20 people saying I'm sh*t at the game I finally found someone. Lower stats than me, lower ELO. But I didn't care, I could help this guy out, right? Then we had a third that had the same mind set. He was a pretty good player. Up to par on stats with me. Wanna know what's funny? Last weekend, on Widows Court, was one of the fastest 9-0 cards I've ever played. With 2 guy from LFG that had decent stats.
Elitists. I have one thing to say to you. Give people a chance. I'm not upset I was turned down. Not one bit. I'm disappointed in you. There are people like me that help the little people to the light house, which means we might have lower ELO than you. But I'll take a guy that helps the community at the sacrifice of his numbers than the guy who turns everyone down because they don't have big numbers. Maybe you can also help the lighthouse virgins if you're that good.

Thanks to being trending because of all of you, lighthouse virgins see this post first and hopefully that means that they can match up with some of you better players and finally go flawless! If you're free this weekend I'd play trials with you. My stats are pretty bad but I always have fun in trials and am always looking to play trials with new people

Yea, some people just take a [b]game[/b] too seriously. I play Destiny because its fun, I have only played during three Trials weekends, but I [b]didn't[/b] enjoy it as much as ordinary Crucible.

Jesus it's just a game. I used to be pretty good at halo growing up. And i super try harded in halo and destiny. But im getting too old, its too much of a headache. I just wanna have fun and not care as much

Wow, well I kinda expected this when I read on this post. Kinda makes me switching to Warframe and within a week already having several Prime Warframes and weapons due to people being noob friendly look way better than the stingy elitist gits of ToO.

I am not the best player but I work well with my Trials team. Before they left Destiny (Which I do not blame them) we always went flawless. My overall K/D is trash. But my recent games, I hold my own and I am not carried. All depends on how well a team can work together.

If 2 people are good enough they won't care what your stats are as long as you revive and listen.

The thing I look at is recent numbers. When I got this game I couldn't hit the side of a barn with a house and most of my numbers reflect that. I met a great group of folks and they helped me out a lot in getting better. I had no other game experience of this kind when I bought my wife the PS4 but have enjoyed it mostly cause the people I've met. I'm still not great by any means but would play with anyone except those with crazy bad internet, I don't know why but it affects the cramp out off mine. Descent numbers and great communications go a long way.

I don't consider myself that great of a player either, and it's still easy to flawless with a team that's up to par. I think I have about a 1.4 k/d for Trials and maybe a 1400 ELO, and with teammates like that we kicked ass.

The thing is it isn't really the elite who do things like that. It's the guys who doubt they'd be able to get there without players with certain stats that usually aren't very good. I used to ask for players with a 1.3 when I was at 1.3 & I wasn't sure of my own ability. Now I'm fine with whatever & I just try to help.

I used to run trials and I'm not the best player but I can generally hold my own just got tired of people in trials for those reasons and I'll be honest I've never gone to lighthouse as I absolutely hate to be carried in anything I'll admit my pride is sometimes a bad thing I always felt I'd rather get there with players who are comrades call me a fool XD

1 RespuestaPlayed in Year 1 on Xbox. TTK for PS. Been flawless many times in year 1, but can't get a team for year 2. So many fags saying the same sh1t. "Oh your stats aren't good enough." "Your ELO is terrible." "You've never been flawless." "Get out of my party. You die too much." I'm sorry I'm not as good as I was in Y1. Sorry I'm the one that needs to change so that you don't have to. They need to separate these sh1theads from normal crucible. It's not even fun anymore with these d1cks running around.
