*Gets sniped*
You know, I never minded snipers but they have become a problem in destiny lately. Everytime I go one on one with a sniper at close to medium range I die 90% of the time. And trust me I avoid sniper lanes as much as possible but a sniper should not be able to kill you when you're shoving bullets down their throat at close range.
When you shoot at a sniper they are supposed to flinch not immediatly kill you. I get that people get lucky but this isn't luck. Snipers really need to be adjusted in destiny. My suggestion to adjusting the sniper class is to increase the flinch when shot or automatically zoom out, increase the zoom of snipers so it's more difficult to kill at short-medium range, and increase the amount of time it takes to aim down sights.

3 RespuestasTLDR - Op isn't very good at Pvp
-
In COD there's a perk that allow you to equip two weapons.
-
15 RespuestasYou know what the issue is? The fact that you can run around with 1 shot kill weapons for an entire game and have a regular weapon too What other game does that? Not cod Not halo Not overwatch Not csgo You shouldn't be allowed a power weapon like a sniper or shotgun in addition to a pulse rifle or auto rifle
-
2 RespuestasMy advice is use a scout rifle to counteract them, preferably one w/ a high RoF or one w/ full auto, it'll constantly mess w/ their aim, at least in my experience it does. Also
Every time I go one on one with a sniper at close to medium range I die 90% of the time.
How do you lose to a sniper at close range 90% of the time? That's like the one range you should always beat a sniper in lol
-
Snipers need to flinch more when challenging them with a primary. If I smashing that trigger surely their head should get knocked back and their aim flinch way more.

Editado por CleverInvective: 7/14/2016 8:55:10 PMFlinch on snipers needs to be increased a bit. It's as simple as that. They're first shot type weapons. As a sniper if you get the first round off and it's a headshot you get rewarded with the kill. If you miss counter fire pressure from your opponent should force you to disengage, switch weapons, or die. Right now the only weapon that can somewhat do it is the heavy impact scouts (cocytus type). And even then the unflinching perk on the sniper rifle is really good. It would nice to see what perks someone has on their weapon in your death cam.

Noobs... Noobs everywhere... As shotgunner sniper are not problem... Its easy to escape from them... And if he win you in close-mid range... So he know to use sniper... Sniper are not so easy to use... Harder than shotguns sidearms and fusions...

4 RespuestasAds times were nerfed and use a sniper and tell me there is no flinch

6 RespuestasHey. If I took a sniper and pointed it at you from "close to medium range", and I shot you with it, what do you think would happen? I'll give you a hint: you would die.
-
Snipers aren't the problem. The constant to nerfs to primaries is.
-
8 RespuestasNo sniper flinch is not the problem. Have you tried to snipe while getting shot? It's almost impossible. The only kills I've gotten like that are lucky as hell headshots. The problem is people who cry nerf every time something kills them.
It'd be easier to kill snipers if primaries were stronger

oh, wait.. They got nerfed.
-
I honestly hate sniper + primary combo. But, it's fair. Sadly. :/

7 RespuestasSnipers = no one complained about them in year one, now they're some "huge problem" that players face. Git gud.
-
It's lag they shot you then you're bullets register on them. A lot of the things people complain about are from because destiny has an aweful netcode
-
5 RespuestasThey should have the sniper mechanic from GTA V, let's see these Quick scopers try now.
-
Really aggrevating to be hitting crits and still have a sniper headshot me with ease. I understand they get lucky sometimes, but it happens way too often
-
I had to apologize to someone last night because they were shooting me in the face and I panicked and pulled the trigger and ended up hitting them in the head with a snipe. I made it out with no visible health on my bar
-
All they really need to be reasonable is added flinch.
-
17 RespuestasOh really? I just take a different route out of their line of sight and blast them in the face with my Universal Remote when I get close enough. It's amazing how many snipers in the Crucible forget to check their surroundings when I'm around... :-D
-
3 Respuestasi dont think the snipers are the problem, the ammount of ammo is! people use snipers like if it were candy, maybe if bungie only would give 4 bullets starting and only 2 per special ammo box. I think at least people would use it less and more conservatively .- obviously as special weapons have the potential to 1 shot anybody. keep special weapons as they are but lower the ammo, that is my fix because to be honest i am tired of seeing nerfs on the best parts of destiny.( yes sniping is great but it needs some more moderation)
-
I just think they should de-scope after two or three head shots (scout). Also, put sway in if they hard scope over five seconds or so. If someone pops me before I can get a couple hits on em, good for them, they won, but if I'm lighting them up five or six times and they pull of some Hail Mary headshot...that's pretty lame IMO
-
Agreed, this is my least favorite crucible meta. It's stiff and everyone camps, at least we played aggressive with thorn last word etc in HoW, not also to mention primaries would actually put snipers in their place.
-
"lately" Where have you been since Year Two started?

1 RespuestaI feel that the main issue is the high bodyshot damage. Snipers are supposed to be about precision, not clumsily aim at the body, switch to primary, shoot foot, kill.
-
I see what you're saying, and I feel your pain. Snipers can pull off some ridiculous kills, seemingly defying all space magic laws. That being said, I've pulled a few of those stupid kills, even while being fired at. The flinching seems on point, as my screen shakes like hell when I'm getting shot at. The problem seems to be luck/aim-assist. As I'm getting shot at, if I snap my reticule in the right place, they will die often, even when they unloaded half a mag in me. Also, I think the ability of snipers to get kills so efficiently at med-close range is bs, but that's just my opinion. I'm fine with sniper damage, they should hit like trucks, it seems aim assist is the culprit.
