Ok , the crucible scoring system is very bad . I have played multiple rumble games where I have gotten more kills than the person who won , but I lost . Where is the logic in that . The objective is to KILL ENEMY PLAYERS . So I killed more people , but I lost? Ok that seems fair . And in skirmish , you can get a lot of points from revives , which rewards you for dying . The advantage of a revive should be where you can revive your teammate , so they don't spawn far away and get split up . Not to farm points .
Now , to supers and heavy . Why do you get MORE points for getting a one hit kill than winning a primary gunfight? Heavy is very easy to farm kills with . And you get more points per kill , even though it's easier . Same for supers . If you're ever truly going to nerf special weapons / heavy weapons , give less points per kill .
Solution : Make the gamemodes based off kills . No one is going to say you're copying another game .
This needs to be implemented ASAP

The point system if ok the way it is, your score is what gives you victory, not kills. You get points from reviving teammates because there would be no point to reviving them anyway then. And the points are much less then a kill... 25 vs. 100. killing with supers or heavy is a way to make it more fun or challenging, its boring if only primary will give you points and the other things were useless... and the points are high to make the player want to take you out more efficiently! if its only based of kills, people who keep getting assisted would get crap when every kill is stolen by other players, also the players need more than killing or PVE would be the best!

3 RespuestasI think they should impliment more ways to get point such as taunts and starting a dance party. Crucible is like the colloseum of rome. Its to entertain the nameless masses and gain fame.

4 RespuestasEditado por TheFishE77: 7/7/2016 1:57:36 PMScoring is fine the way it is. You get bonuses for doing things with style. You can scrub out and get that shotgun slide or two body snipe, or you could get bonus points for taking the time to land that headshot. You wait for your super to charge, use it right then, or wait to maximize the bonus points and get/keep the lead? Depending on the type of heavy you use you may only get a few kills with it, and it spawns only once. Plus you will most definitely be team shot by the enemy trying to shut you down. Run more risk by keeping the heavy, score bonus points for successful use of it. Killing the lead player nets you a bonus, meaning if you are the lead, you have everyone else gunning for you. That makes it harder to camp out, plus gives incentives to eliminate the top scorer since they are clearly a big threat. As for revives, yes, your teammates died. That's not the point. The point is rather than playing it safe and waiting for the respawn, you have the chance of risking getting killed in the same place to revive them. Pull it off you get a bonus, not because they were killed but because you got them back without dying yourself. Seems pretty straightforward to me.

1 RespuestaIf you want to complain about scoring you really should bring up the fact that disabling the enemies probe in Salvage is worth more than capturing it. This gives rise to both teams hoping the other will deploy so they can shut it down for more points.

Completely agree with you i hope they do somthing about the scoring when rise of iron comes out.

Yeah, should get bonus points for primary kills and just 100 even for heavy.
-
True, you get points for reviving your teammate. But in order to revive your teammate, the enemy has to kill them 1st. They get at least 100 points for killing your buddy. You get 50 for reviving him. Keep farming revives and see if you can get a lead that way.

I don't see any problem with scoring. It gives you points for playing the game like you should. I think it's just fine
