Why do low k/d players not state the fact...
I've seen sooooo many posts with a message like " my k/d is Low because I...
1. Play the objective bla bla bla
2. Don't leave the game when others quit bla bla bla
3. Play for fun bla bla bla
4. Like to experiment with load outs bla bla bla
5. A truckload of other reasons...
Fvck sake.
My k/d is low because I'm not as good as others in pvp. It's not that fvckin hard to admit is it? Big fvckin deal. No one really gives a shyt anyway. Yeah I can still finish top of the pile in rumble every now and then, but not as often as others. That's it. No fvckin mystery.
For any of you out there who are justifying their low k/d on this forum: forget about it! Just fvckin play more pvp and practice and improve, and when you become a higher k/d player, be gracious to those below your ratio.
And that's fvckin that.

My kd is a 1.1 because I sucked when I got the game and I've started playing sweats. However, my trials kd is like a 1.8. I know trials isnt hard, and due to sbmm probably the easiest gamemode, but it's better than my .6 in year 1 \v/

5 RespuestasHonestly it's near impossible at a certain point for a player to take a low k/d and raise it, especially after 2 years of gameplay, they'd have to start over from scratch because say the k/d is .5 but that's 1000 deaths and 500 kills, you'd then have to sit and try to raise your k/d by 500 kills or more without dying once to ever have any validity in the community

I get out-played all the time. Just today, I ran full speed across a tiny little gap on Widow's Court and got sniped. It was a great shot. Then there are the games where someone is lagging so bad it's like playing in a strobe light and I die in empty rooms only to have the lagger appear at my feet with a shotgun after I'm dead. Those aren't fun.

1 RespuestaI have a .9 KD in trials on Xbox due to playing a lot in year 1 and not really being all that good. I switched to PS4 and now have a bit over a 1.5 there. Switched back to Xbox and I'm as good as I was on PS4. How does my current KD reflect my current skill?

3 RespuestasI honestly just lost interest in trying to maintain a god KD. It's tedious and you just start getting way to tilted when things don't go your way. Just find some friends to play with and you'll never have to deal with the KD nonsense again.

I know when I get beat and fully and easily accept that. However when a person is glitching all over and blinking out due to lag or doesn't take any damage then it's an issue. I got the drop on a red bar Titan and three shots with invective and two melee hits from BEHIND and he doesn't die then glitches forward then backwards then to the side and I die from a shotgun. He kept lagging the entire match and two friends noticed the same issue. No damage and glitching everywhere.

I play with 3 friends... 2 are similar skill as me, one is WAY better than any of us. If I play with the 2 that are at my level we usually all go positive and have fun. If the 3rd friend joins we start going negative and he goes from a 1.2-1.5 k/d to a 3+ over a few matches. After a few more matches he'll be the only one going positive. So it makes me wonder... How many high k/d players are playing in a fireteam where the other members are much worse? The whole sbmm thing calls into question whether any k/d is accurate unless you strictly play solo. It's a bummer that if we all want to play together 3/4 of us are going to get demolished. When the good player joins, the lobbies get insanely sweaty there's no denying that. It's at the point where it's not fun to play with him because of this. Aside from that, sweating K/D is pointless IMO. I'll be dragged down by my abysmal year 1 k/d forever and ever.

My kd is ok because: 1. I have a real job 2. I'm not a streamer 3. I pay for good internet 4. I have shit luck in most gunfights. 5. That luck things again 6. I don't play 5+ hours a day anymore 7. I realize I never really cared what kd meant anyway. I'm not going pro as a gamer ever so brag all u want about being King shit cause it really means nothing in the long run. I'm not hating but I laugh a little when players talk like they are gods gift to destiny. Players get luck and that's the truth. Realkrafty is an awesome destiny players but watch his carries. He is very skilled but humble that he admits a lot of his crazy wins are luck. It's not a discredit to his skill cause it's dame sure he has skill.
