You just need to learn to adapt to changes it's only nerfed to the point of being useless if you fail at being able to adapt to changes. Other people do just fine with them after the nerf.

I use all subclasses, I just think to the point that because of a PvP nerf that all things get -blam!-ed up. PvE and PvP are separate domains which is why I think there should be separate nerfs

PvP nerfs for me at least didn't really do any harm in the PvE side of the game with how simple it is they make no real difference on downing a raid boss or failtrain. Even when it's weapons and not class based changes hell I used auto rifles for a long time in PvE and PvP after they got rekt by the first auto rifle nerf in year one only noticed a difference in PvP.
