I'm finding that to be the most frustrating way I die in the crucible, you have a guy beat then he pops a last second fusion to force a trade. I mean, Kudos to him but I'd like to keep my streak going.
I haven't had any issues with snipers so far this IB, I find myself dying more to GoM (which is just a solid counter weapon to the primary I use) and Universal Remote (Most times I just challenge when I know I shouldn't) aaaand fusion grenades.
So yea, how do you beat a FG up close?
Edit: I don't seem to have this problem with Flux 'nades, those seem to be a more offensive choice than SB or SS fusions, which always seem to be a panic throw to me.

Skill, skill beats everything.
-
You used to be able to blink out of them, stopped using blink so not sure now
-
A bat. You can hit them back then.
-
If u slide right as your stuck u can avoid a sticky its sometimes hard because you need momentum and quick reaction time but its possible. You also can slide under an axion bolt b4 it hits you and will take very lil damage
-
Blink, shadestep. Some how induce damage reduction?
-
1 RespuestaLiterally nothing, I don't wanna be 'that guy' but they are pretty cheap.
-
I always pop my super if I have it and tbag the person that threw it if I killed them.
-
4 RespuestasAccept your fate since the uber tracking grenade has chosen you
-
Pray. Sometimes they dont kill like they're supposed to...or movement

Returning to orbit

2 Respuestas
frustrating
Nerf incoming I guess Sunsingers (a subclass mostly built around grenades) can have a "laughing gas grenade" or maybe a "confetti bomb grenade." Yes, I know fusions aren't unique to Sunsingers, but since the other two Sunsinger grenades were deactivated, it is all they have left.
-
Best counter I see for fusion nades is a piss poor connection, mine very rarely stick and will often land at there feet but others will track me while I'm swinging away with arcblade.
-
3 RespuestasI like to throw them, get the stick and then immediatley stop to teabag. Gets players tilted every time.
-
They would not be so bad if it wasn't for the ridiculous magnetism they have on them.
-
Do a barrel roll!
-
I shoulder charged at just the perfect time and survived one the other day but you can't count on that ha
-
-
There is no escape from fusion grenades. If your stuck by one just try and run to the person who stuck you and hope you manage to kill them with their own nade
-
2 RespuestasCharge the person You'll get some damage off on them in addition to them hurting themselves woth their grenade
-
Same as any grenade: get the -blam!- out of the way.
-
1 RespuestaDid you say fusion grenades or rifles? Oh well, better nerf them both just to make sure.
-
Their is no counter, just cross your fingers and hope the AA doesnt screw you
-
Don't be standing there is pretty much the only option unless you think you can shoot it.

Editado por Jerilla13: 7/3/2016 12:49:42 AMI would say flux grenades are just much less used, most BD like to use skips. The fusions are now the most effective option for ss, and while I think incendiary are better for sb, I see most packing fusions. As far as beating them, don't get stuck is pretty much your only option which is easier said than done on panic throws as you kill the guy.

2 RespuestasEditado por ZeeFour-: 7/2/2016 6:30:45 PMIf you are quick You can kill them and if they die before the grenade sticks. It will bounce off you, As seen here https://youtu.be/j4mhD2XoeoE

Blink? Shadow step? Distance kills
