They rightfully deserved the nerfs that they got.
No sympathy from me towards them and I am sure others feel the same. They have been OP from day one! No wonder so many people are Hunter mains.
Hunters are the most casual friendly class confirmed!
Voidwalkers require the most skill.

Edit: I read the voidwalker graph wrong. I should have said Defenders. My bad. And also, a lot of you hunters are in denial!! If the chart expanded for months, the results would remain the same.

Bungie's logic: people like something. Nerf it into the ground so no one likes it anymore.
-
4 RespuestasWell yeah obviously hunters would be on top cuz 1. More people play hunter 2. We have roaming supers for all the classes
-
2 RespuestasYeah it really showed nightstalkers advantage with shadestep didn't it?
-
12 RespuestasIt also showed Nightstalkers underperforming, but they still got a nerf. While it's not relevant to where most of my PvP activities lie, I'd be very curious to see the same chart for 3 v 3s, Trials, Rumble, etc.
-
I want to see their stats for other the game modes
-
Why just giving 6vs6? No rate of super, grenades, melee abilities, normal melee kills... You can't judge with incomplete information.
-
Bungie: we want everyone to be around 1.06 on the high end Hunter: is around 1.06 on the high end Bungie: Nerf the shit out of them? Got it
-
The funniest part of this chart was that the night stalker was viewed as the most op class. And this graph just proved that very much wrong. They were pretty much average. I know I main a nightstalker in the community eyes, even though since I made my titan a month ago I've use my hunter maybe twice, on a raid. Ya shadestep and wombo really op there. Look at how mediocre the players are. And that's factoring in the top 100 players who are ridiculous with nightstalkers.

I like how solar is thermal c:

Just because those two classes have a higher overall K/D doesn't necessarily mean they are OP. They just perform better in 6v6. The difference in K/D shown on the graph isn't as big as it looks and they only showed one game mode to justify their nerf. Any class has the capability to perform that well, it's just saying the average don't.
-
It is just 6v6.. Shouldn't you balance based on what the top end of the spectrum does? Like what the very top echelon of players are being too successful or unsuccessful with. I have a hard time believing that the very best crucible players are using gunslinger and bladedancer. At least look at the 3v3 playlists or rumble to assess how an individual subclass is performing. As opposed to the insane -blam!- fest of snowballing supers that 6v6 is.
-
Editado por toastnhoney: 6/23/2016 7:46:34 PMThat graph smacks of effort and is just gross and upsetting. Nothing felt reassuring about that post. A .15 spread in kd for 6v6, c'mon! Comparison for stats in every game mode is a must. Popularity: give me stats, time played per subclass Felt like they just threw that at us so we all say, ' duh, yah, but did you see the chart in TWAB, duh um.
-
All this proves is that more people use hunters, and some of those people happen to be more skilled.
-
Editado por Bunglerbuck: 6/23/2016 7:37:25 PMProbably because hunters don't use their supers to kill one person like every striker and void walker "A whole group of people?? Nah ima kill this arc blade LOL"
-
1 RespuestaJust because they were popular doesn't mean they were broken. Just because it was annoying doesn't mean it was broken. I see snipers as annoying, not op, but I get annoyed by them and they're a popular choice among the other specials. By the logic above, they should get nerfed, which sounds stupid.
-
2 RespuestasWait for the next chart...that still has Hunters on top. Crucible isn't all abilities...you have to shoot sometimes.
-
9 RespuestasEditado por RelentlessWolf: 6/23/2016 7:23:30 PMThis data doesn't show how many more players are using each subclass what if there is way more hunters than the other subclasses obviously the data is going to say there is more hunters with high kd? Its like when bungie showed us what the most used weapons was and decided to nerf it just because it was overused. Look at what happened to mida multitool when it got overused bungie showed us a graph showing it was being overused and nerfed it based off of that.
-
6 RespuestasYeah. As you can see above, Hunters are roughly 0.04 points higher in 6v6 for a couple weeks. 0.04.... In 6v6.... I guess Gunslingers and Bladedancers can kill you 0.04 more times then the rest. Where have I heard that number again......?
-
2 RespuestasIt actually proves that most of the skilled pvpers main hunters
-
If they were most casual the all the best players wouldn't have played them hunters have big Kd's because your most successful players are hunters
-
Here's what I got from this. Most people who mainly play pvp use a hunter. People think kd means skill XD. For all you know those people lost every game because they camped in a corner.
-
All it proved was that us hunters are the most skilled class. If you think that being able to ohk someone (who is playing a warlock or hunter with low armor) with a burning knife or that being able to stick people with a grenade with no aa is op than my friend you are a complete moron. show spoiler
-
1.02 1.05 It's like an auto rifle buff. Super powerful.
-
1 RespuestaHunters are the most popular class... Of course they're going to show up higher on a -blam!-ing graph. Also, I generally feel like Hunters attract the try hard type... judging how this community generally feels towards Hunters idt many would disagree with that statement. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Bungie was completely oblivious to what seems rather obvious to most of us, wouldn't be the first time and that's a huge understatement.
-
The chart in the update June 23 is garbage. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/207429805 The claims you are making based on the chart provided are not supported by the data in the chart provided. The chart is a gross oversimplification with in sufficient data to draw any conclusion.

1 Respuestanope...there as always been more hunters...when this game launched most people started as a hunter...the math is skewed...some people only have hunters...analytics are ruining the world...lol
