I want to like Destiny, I really do...
...especially with this new dlc, but I've seen so many disappointments, lies, and hostilities that I simply can't enjoy it.
As a result, unlike most people, I look for the negatives first before any of the positives, which is why this dlc leaked trailer, and it's ghorn, hasn't gotten me hyped. I look past them and see the worst that could happen instead of hoping for the best.
Destiny has that potential, but I'm losing sight of it every day.

already just getting told to leave by people who don't care about others, should've seen that coming. It's like I'm not allowed to like Destiny! My faith in Destiny is shaken, on the cliff edge, so instead of helping they decide to push me off. (analogy, for those to take this literal)

If you are bothered by my negativity, then you can just mute me. Would be easier on you to not hear my voice again. And for those who just say that I'm just being an attention whore, the point of this post was to find those optimistic ones who can give me reasons to look past the negatives and enjoy the game.

3 RespuestasHey man, know that we value you as a fellow guardian! Sadly, many users on the forums are immature and idiotic. Please don't conclude that most of the community is that way. There are days when I get really frustrated, be it the admittedly sucky RNG, troubles with PvP matchmaking, or Bungie's punishing PvE players due to the cruci-babies. However, I still get a lot of enjoyment from this game, and I only came on after the Taken King! Which platform are you on? I currently play PS3, and happen to play with some great people. One of my favorite things is to play Classic Free-for-all with a fireteam. Always a good laugh! Bottom line, every player is worthy of respect and courtesy in my eyes, and I'm sorry that you've suffered the idiocy of those less mature. Don't let morons on the forums affect your life outside of Destiny, and if you are battling depression, feel free to message me. I've been in some pretty low places, and I am more than willing to give encouragement to anyone feeling down. Keep up the fight Guardian! Sincerely, thedandymancan.

Welcome to the Destiny community. As a player since day 1 I can tell you the game is flawed, really badly flawed. From unbalanced classes and weapons, to a barren pve, laggy pvp, god awful rng, and the developer behind it all doesn't seem to care. With that said, I loved this game when it released and have defended it against anyone who said anything negative. After the April update, I can't anymore. They don't care and won't fix it and continue to baby all the crucible trash. So until they fix it, I don't care about Destiny or rise of iron.

The best average to mildly bad game you will ever play. I've felt let down by bungie sine E3 2013 bait and switch. Then again in the expansion pass when they said each expansion will have a raid. Then again by TTK by adding microtransactions for just pure money grabbing. I don't know if I will continue the journey as a guardian :(

The problem is you, stopping listening to all the negative Nancy's and form your own damn opinion about the game. I felt the same way after the first 6 months and listening to all the hate being spewed but i chose to continue playing and ignore the hate because for me its just one hell of a fun game to play.

The last batch of tweaks ie: new ways to achieve high light, some classic weapons reintroduced*, 1to1 infusion, definitely proved a step in the right direction for me. Don't get me wrong, they still have a long way to go but at least it's an improvement. If you're feeling a bit jaded with the game then maybe it is time to put it aside for a while, you may find when you come back that your old enthusiasm will have been rekindled. *I thought bringing these guns back was a positive because rng hates me so much that I never got them in yr1.

Signed in for the first time in 8 months and I actually had fun doing the daily and heroic. After being away and playing other games I don't care about the grind anymore... if I don't max my grimoire or get every last exotic... so be it.
