I don't think that exotics should be "god-tier", but certainly be better or comparable to the best legendaries available in each gun class. They are most of the time worse then the best legendary weapons (and it was not like for most of Year 1). I have at least a couple legendaries in every gun class that are better then my best exotics (the ones I am missing I do not care enough about to grind for because I already have better legendary weapons). Exotics have become mostly irrelevant at this point. P.S. The only exotics I regularly use now are Midi Multitool, Bad Juju, and Tlaloc, because they still great in PVP.
