This is my opinion of how classes should be balanced for year 3. Like and bump if you agree so this gets to bungie.
Gunslinger:
Increase golden gun damage in pve
Bladedancer:
Buff arc bolt damage
Slightly increase magnetism on Flux grenade or increase blast radius
Slightly increase duration of arc blade
Increase sprint speed for fleet footed perk
Nightstalker:
Increase the cooldown for shadestep to 10 seconds, add an on screen icon for cooldown
Make all grenades transparent
Remove slow from smoke
Sunsinger:
Add a second layer of overshield to flame shield upon kill
Change the song of flame perk so that it maximizes recovery for nearby allies and damage dealt by nearby allies is increased by 25%.
Add better hit detection to firebolt so that damage is always applied regardless of shadestep or enemy movement or lag
Voidwalker:
Increase damage dealt by Nova bomb by 500% in pve
Storm caller:
Decrease the time storm trance remains active in pvp, increase damage in pve
Striker:
Increase grenade damage in pve
Increase fist of havoc blast radius in pve
Increase the height and speed of catapult
Sunbreaker: Increase blast radius of hammer of sol
Leave sunspots in areas when grenade kills are obtained with simmering flames active
Increase throw speed of hammer of sol
Increase the height and speed of catapult
Defender: ward of dawn activation now also reloads all weapons
Teammates in radius upon ward of dawn activation now also get their grenade and melee charged
Armor of light constantly recharges
Increase the height and speed of catapult
Thoughts?

2 RespuestasI love this because it mostly addresses problems by buffing not nerfing, and doesn't kill PvE for PvP or vice versa. Nice job!
-
1 RespuestaI feel dumber after reading this post.
-
Blade isn't gonna get buffed. Nightstalkers is unlikely to get nerfed that hard. Sunsingers does not need any kind of buff and neither do Titan subclasses.
-
I agree with about 80% of what you said. Good job

2 RespuestasFall is an expansion. Not an update. Which might have gotten moved up to sooner. If there's a reveal next week it's safe to say we're wither getting a small dlc soon and the expansion in the fall or this is the expansion and it's coming alot sooner.

3 RespuestasI could see your reasoning with everything aside from buffing anything on sunsinger. That class is a joke as far as being balanced. I mean firebolt, is ridiculous along with flame shield. I main hunter and I think they need to do 1 of 2 things with shadestep. Either give it a real cool down, or not allow for the shadestep out of grenades
-
3 RespuestasA 500% damage increase for nova bomb? What dafuq you trying to do? 1 shot raid bosses?
-
2 RespuestasI'm a warlock main and this was stupidly unfair.

11 RespuestasNo for Nightstalkers nerf of shadestep. Make the cool down the same as current blink. As for smoke remove disabled radar and I agree on the grenades being transparent only when used with smoke. No to the warlock melee overshield buff. Other than that everything is fine as is.

4 RespuestasHow about more armor and. Selfrese
-
6 RespuestasSunsinger... Add a SECOND layer of overshield upon kil? Stopped reading after that i thought this post was a serious one obviously not 😂😂
-
I say no to these changes. Seems like they would cause more problems then anything, in my opinion
-
4 RespuestasSo you want to nerf Nightstalkers into the ground and you make Sunsingers even more OP? Got it.

8 RespuestasEditado por FrostyRaiku: 6/4/2016 11:28:20 PMI like most of it, but keep in mind Bungie is too lazy to balance PvE and PvP separately, the only thing they do separately is damage, and even that, of course, they get lazy with, but it's the easiest thing to balance separately for them. Also, I don't think that they can separate things like Blast Radius between PvE and PvP, it's just buff or nerf for things like that. So if you want them to balance anything in just PvE or PvP, then mainly aim for damage, it's the easiest, so therefore most likely, thing to be changed for just PvE or PvP. Gunslinger: Yup. Definitely. Bladedancer: Skip needs a slight damage increase and they should not track you so far. But yea, good here too. Nightstalker: Shadestep doesn't need a 10 second cooldown, 3-5 seconds is plenty. Smoke should be nerfed, but more so that they should just move one of the things it does, such as slow in specific, to Envenomed. And I don't really understand what you mean by making Nightstalker grenades transparent? Or why you want them nerfed. Sunsinger: Um, just no on the Flame Shield idea...it's fine where it is imo. Song of Flame would be rly good with that. And about Firebolts...really I think it needs this buff very badly, but lag isn't exactly easy to ignore for things like hit detection, and imo, the only reason I think the Firebolt Combo isn't OP is because of Firebolts bad hit detection. So if they're going to fix Firebolts hit detection, they would have to slightly reduce how long ToF/VF Combo makes it burn, and probably the damage, because while it doesn't even kill, it leaves you one-shot from even an Auto. Nova Bomb: It doesn't need a 500% increase, that's a bit much, 200% I think is much better. Same would apply to FoH. Stormtrance: They can't reduce time in just PvP, and I don't think the time needs another nerf. Damage increase in PvE definitely is definitely needed, as are for all Supers. Striker: Tbh I think all Grenades need like a 30-75% Damage increase. Catapult yea I agree, but not too much of a buff. And it doesn't need a Blast Radius Buff. Sunbreaker: Yea I agree, it needs a Blast Radius and Velocity buff. Defender: I like the weapon reload. I'm iffy about Teammates getting abilities recharged. And Armor is fine if only needing a very slight decrease to wait time for it to start recharging.
