Arc Blade is the only super which requires you to get in close to get a kill. Every other super out there can get in close but it is purely optional. No one is scared of an arc blade anymore because as they have distance they have security, and if they get in close they can simply shotgun and melee a bladedancer by timing it right. Granted you can shotgun melee other supers but that's only if you get in close and all have ranged attacks while in super. Arc Blade needs a slight armor buff due to its close range nature, it also needs a movement speed boost because you literally can just run away from an arc blade or just float above it because the arc blade will get short stopped every time. Also, if an arc blade is able to hit a striker right before he activates his fist of havoc, he should be able to kill the Titan, UNLESS they are running unstoppable. This will at least give the arc blade a small fighting chance and even things out between the two subclass supers.
TL;DR - Arc Blade needs a slight armor buff, movement speed buff, hit detection fix/no more short stopping, and should be able to kill OHK supers such as FOH and nova bomb if they are able to get that close (unless they are using unstoppable or skull of dire ahamkara). Arc Blade is by far the weakest super in the game currently

PvE needs more of a buff than PvP. I've tried it in PvE and its UNDERWHELMINGLY garbage!

1 RespuestaIt's op

1 RespuestaIt can survive a shoulder charge, so it's fine.

2 RespuestasEditado por Xii Alpha iiXx: 6/1/2016 4:03:59 PMIt's an outdated class. It's neutral game is still great but the super is meh. Since many games are shotgun fest I just switch to golden gun. It's so easy to shotgun melee a blade dancer it has little value. Sure you can wave but all you have to do is jump to avoid it. Besides golden gun it has the lowest armor out of any super yet requires the closet contact next to fist of havoc...which actually has much bigger spread then the wave or spin blade dancers have. BUT I learned and finally understood something. Ok. I am probably going to die in my super. My goal is to make it a 3 for 1. I want to get at least 2 to 3 kills per super. If I do that even though I die my k/d per super is positive. I am killing more then dying One death per 2 to 3 kills means you have more points . It also require the most super awareness out of any class. Watch who uses what super and when. If you get blade dancer super early in a match just pop it. It's why i wear the spider chest. It allows me to get a super very quickly. Pop arc blade and get an early lead. It's frustrating to realize your super means death. But when it's a shotgun fest just switch to golden gun or nightstalker. (I forget how to spell the name of the exotic chest piece my bad)

You're not using it correctly
-
It just needs a little more lunge range to fix the hit detection problem.

Editado por BRAZACK: 6/1/2016 1:04:21 AMIts fine in pvp dude but pve its completely useless. I get 4 to 5 killstreaks with arcblade in pvp. U gotta use it wisely and use cover to get close. U can even use blink to close a gap.

2 RespuestasNo. In pvp arc blades are where they should be-they certainly don't need armour or movement buffs. Pve on the other hand-sure go for it. Most supers are underwhelming in that area.
-
Arc blade needs a PvE dmg buff and that's it. You've got infinite heals, spammy as f* capabilities, an invis that hides your super, and an aoe shockwave for both close and long range. Bladedancer has enough pvp power. If anything about it were buffed, an armor and/or heal nerf should accompany it.

Editado por Infamous067: 5/31/2016 11:43:17 AMI feel blades only need a buff when it gets to the lunges but thats it, armor is fine, super is fine. First time I used blade dancer my thing ran out in 3 seconds because I didn't know the super wastes energy on slashes, I was such a noob lol. Now I can make it last a while and can now wipe a whole team. It just takes some practice and knowing when to use it. Using blade dancer at far ranges will obviously result in fail but use it inside a room and watch how easily you stack up the kills. By the way, arc blade is not the weakest super in the game, that would be defender simply because it doesn't kill. Every super is actually really awesome but it really comes down to the player. Although defender is not as offensive as the other classes even without my no back up plans I get to place first and I know when to use the super. Under the right hands, anyone can make a class look op

3 RespuestasI have to admit, arc blade is a beast once you get it going. Getting it going is the issue. If there was a speed buff up until the first kill, that would be interesting.

4 RespuestasHey good news, so I’ve speaking with the boys and they’ve acknowledged that it’s a bit underwhelming in terms of damage mitigation vs. cqc melee damage…and I think they’re going to take it to the workbench and tweak it up for you folks. Isn’t that good news?!

Blade is exactly where it should be

Editado por Striker1000122: 5/31/2016 9:16:36 AMI've been blade dancing since year one, I hate the other classes, blade dancer's are fine more armor will make them too op. The only thing wrong with blade dancing is skip grenade, I seen so many fly over my head right after landing by my feet today. I'm also happy more people are blade dancing, I fly across the sky's with my blade. remember blade dancing is not just a class it's a lifestyle...on that note striker out :)
-
I'm still gonna fusion/melee. Be thankful it just doesn't take my fusion anymore like it used to.
-
3 RespuestasArmor is fine it has the most of any romaing super plus it can regenrate health
-
1 RespuestaIn pve, they really need work. In pvp... they seem ok to me. I love Bladedancer and I would like it to do well. The problem is I don't see a way to buff it without making it op.
-
1 RespuestaIncrease time slightly and fix hot detection and it's good
-
10 RespuestasIf you use the super wisely, is devastating. I have no problem getting at least one gutted medal per match if I'm not goofing off.
-
1 RespuestaBump, Y1 blade was excellent
-
3 RespuestasAs underpowered as it is, both Nova Bomb and Stormtrance, as well as FOH, require close ranges as well.

17 RespuestasShut the hell up. Bladedancers are owning the crucible with invisibility, skip grenades and arc blade having health regeneration and the already buffed armour.
