It's a simple question really. We, as Guardians, hear many stories about how the Eliksni home-world was destroyed by the Whirlwind (like ours) and how they were left by the Great Machine (likely the Traveler), but they are our enemies somehow. Why would we not unite under the light and fight as allies? We could keep Earth (with some Fallen colonies) and the Fallen could take Venus (with some human colonies). We could help give them a home and reclaim our own. Who knows, if it worked we could possibly help retake their home-world. Plus, it would be awesome to have Eliksni Guardians on our side of the fight.

4 RespuestasUmm did everyone forget that they betrayed and murdered a ton of the awoken?
-
11 RespuestasIve often thought about this before. The Fallen sort of ruined that idea by deciding to be hostile when they first encountered us. But we have seen (Variks) that it is possible for them to logically decide to ally with us. As it stands, the fallen are extremely weak right now. Most houses have one or less (zero) leaders left... Winter has no archon, prime, or kell. Devils have no archon, prime, or kell, neither do the wolves or exile... the kings however.... they still have all three leadership roles... A kell, and Archon Priest, and a Prime Servitor. They are the only reason we haven't annihilated the fallen completely yet. A lot of people have been guessing that the Rise of Iron DLC will deal with the house of kings. And if we were able to make an alliance with them at the end of the DLC, then that would be a really good set up for destiny 2. Then we could focus our gaze on the hive, vex and cabal.
-
I was just talking with someone at work about the fact that I wouldn't mind aligning with the Dregs. They are the only ones I feel bad for. They are two-armed slaves in a four-armed world. I'd be down to help them fight against other Fallen etc. A Dreg revolution of sorts.

2 RespuestasWould be cooler if WE could choose one of them as our characters in the Future.
-
well they have a very similar story to us, they used to have the traveller, having a direction in the game playing alongside with more variks minded fallen would be awesome!
-
2 RespuestasIf it will help Taniks finally get a house then I'm down.
-
Thats exactoy what i wanted all the time. To ally the eliksni and help them reclaim their homeworld. Like with sangheili in halo.
-
Not devils or wolves, but Kings maybe

7 RespuestasWe befriend the fallen then we can most likely say goodbye to our growing alliance with the awoken. I want to keep dismantling mines *yesss?* and visit the reef thank you very much.

Editado por HypobaricPiano: 6/6/2016 10:36:17 AMNo. We should build a wall and make the city great again! Edit: oh wait
-
2 RespuestasGreat idea! We'll invite them into the city Marry off one of our daughters to their general Make them stay for dinner Get everybody drunk
THEN RED WEDDING THEIR ASSES

Lmao, this is why I stopped watching GoT.
I've hoped the game would go that direction for a while now. It seems they just want the traveller back, so why can't the two groups unite together under the traveller? I've also hoped for a Cabal alliance actually, since it seems they're also trying to escape the darkness.
-
The fallen are fighting against the traveler because the it supposedly visited their home world like it has done to ours. They believe that their world was destroyed because light was introduced to the planet. In a way, they think they're trying to save humanity by stopping the guardians, the soldiers of light. I guess.

1 RespuestaYES. NOW. RIGHT NOW. I WANT ALLIANCE. BRING TANIKS BACK FROM THE DEAD. GOOD IDEA I SWEAR NOT BIASED BECAUSE ITS MY FAVOURITE STRIKE YESSSS???

Editado por Clone148: 6/6/2016 1:03:29 AMThe only real chance that we'd have at convincing any Eliksni to join us are with the House of Exile, who have little to no positive connections with any other House or their way of hierarchy due to lack of Kell. If we try with say the House of Kings, who still have their Kell, there would definitely be a culture shock between their way of operation and ours.

3 RespuestasA few reasons. Yes the Traveler was with the Fallen when they were called Eliksni. But it left them to escape the Darkness in the event called the Whirlwind. They tried to chase it but they were too late. The Traveler had chosen another race, and they guarded the Traveler like their own. But from their perspective, we stole the Traveler from them. We can offer an allegiance, but after all the killing, after all the battles, I don't think that's a direction the City wants to take. The Fallen want the Traveler for themselves, otherwise they would have come in peace in the first place. But they don't want us around, hence the Battle of the Six Front and Twilight Gap.
-
You mean like how the elites joined the humans in the halo story? Ya that's kinda boring, also there are already a shortage on unique enemies. If you take away a whole race of enemies you are going to need to replace it ( like how halo brought in the promethians )
-
This isn't Halo
-
This is so obvious and if it doesn't happen.... Well, it just needs to happen and on a greater scale than just us and Variks
-
Variks needs some new friends, I think he's a little lonely. That explains why he gets so impatient when we do Challenge of Elders.
-
Groups like the kings will never agree
-
Yes, Randal the vandal shall save us all!
-
Why? We beat Atheon, Crota, Skolas, Oryx, etc pretty much by ourselves. Why have most of Earth and a little of Venus when we can have both?
-
3 RespuestasI've had this feeling for a long time that in an upcoming version of Destiny we will actually get to play a class where we are a Fallen. We will probably be a Captain or at least Vandal status.
-
Too many different houses and have been killing them badly lately
