I need advice.
I'm in 9th grade and there's this girl in my science class that I want to ask out.
She's a 9 in my book, but I have supposedly odd taste in women. (Anne Frank being a 10, and a 1 being that chick who got surgery to look like Barbie.), I can guarantee she's well within my league in other people's opinions, but to me she's a fúcking goddess.
Anyway. Here's the situation. She's been in my class all year and I haven't really talked to her at all. How do I approach her? I can't ask her name, that's rude, (Hey girl who's been in my class all year, what's your name?/You're Avery right?) and that's my usual approach. I know how to do everything from there pretty well, just how do I approach someone who I've known all year but never spoken to?

Actually, asking her name might be a great ice breaker. Claim to be terrible with names and somewhat ashamed to have forgotten hers - go from there.

Ask her out? You can't even drive yet. Start a conversation with her and then after a few minutes tell her it was cool and you want to get to know her better and then just ask for her number.

You may try a tactic to get her to know you exist or notice you. Borrow a pencil or some paper for starters. Later then progress to when you thank her for the supplier. Begin with something like "by the way I didn't get your name there". [spoiler]or do what I did and make an ass of yourself to make her wonder about you. Grills of this age tend to be curious.[/spoiler]

7 RespuestasDon't be shy, have some confidence. We love guys like that. But don't be too arrogant either. Compliment her on what she's wearing, maybe a cool design on her shirt or maybe she's wearing your favorite color. Make her laugh. If you can make her laugh, you can keep a conversation going for a long time :)
