KD Increase Calculator
There is probably a simple math equation for this, but math was never my strong suit.
I know (obviously) that if you have a 1.0 KD and continue to go 2.0 every match that the KD will go up.
What is the best way to calculate how many kills needed (also factoring in deaths) to raise your KD?
For example on my Hunter I have 2618 kills and 2184 deaths with a 1.20 KD. Is there a way to "reverse calculate" what is needed to get to a 1.21 or a 1.25? Like a base line kills and deaths to hit 1.21 and so forth.

It depends ,you can do 1000 games at 3.0, or get the same results doing 2000 games at 1.5, it's an averages problem.

3 RespuestasI have a 1.38 and it goes up by 0,01 after 8-10 games of going between 15-7 and 27-10 so don't think it will go sky high really fast

Editado por NYDIBS: 5/19/2016 5:07:51 PMmultiply the k/d that you want by the amount of deaths you currently have now subtract that number by the number of kills you currently have that will give you the amount of kills (without deaths) you need to achieve your goal in your case you need 112 kills without deaths it would be very difficult to calculate what you want bc it needs to take into consideration your avg k/d per game going forward and the amount of kills you get per game, + the amount of games it would take to achieve that growth, too many variables to consider, but not impossible

5 RespuestasK/D [i]IS[/i] the equation. Kills/Deaths=K/D Using basic algebra, you can plug in your variables and solve for X. If you're trying to find how many kills you need in order to bring your KD up a few points, you'll plug in the desired KD and how many deaths you have, then solve for X. In this case, it would be X/2184=1.21 or 1.25.

You can do quick mental guesstimates. Say you have a kd of 1.0 in 500 games. If you have a 1.5 kd in your next hundred games, your approximate kd will be the current kd plus the difference divided by six. So, about 1.08. This isn't very precise since numbers of kills can vary by game, but is probably close enough for quick, simple calculations.

There is a way to do something like that, but it wouldnt be very useful or efficient. You could calculate how many kills until 1.21, but that wouldn't incorporate deaths. There are hundreds of combinations of kills and deaths that would get you there, but it wouldn't be helpful. It's easier to aim for a specific ratio, but really all of this is redundant. Even if you got specific numbers it's easier said than done to match them physically. Just keep playing and improving.
