Figure out Normal before jumping into Hard mode. Having a higher light level does not mean you're ready for Hard mode. Light Level doesn't matter...experience does. I completed my first Hard mode as a 307 the weekend it released. We were all about the same level but we understood the mechanics.
I don't boot people unless they're rude or just flat out refuse to listen. I'm always happy to help but don't lie about your level of experience.

36 RespuestasThings needed for a Hard mode raid: 1. Knowing counter clockwise 2. Knowing how to count 1 comes before 2 & before 3 NOT AFTER 3. A FRIGGIN MIC !!!!!!! We aren't all Psychic 4. The following weapons: 1k Stare, Black Spindle, Malice, Heavy Machine Gun 5. Ammo Synths 6. Ammo Synths 7. Ammo Synths 8. NO SLEEPER SIMULANTS. PERIOD. For Guardians you need the following: 1 defender titan with blessing to keep the malice user alive, 1 hunter with tether to make orbs for the titan & warlock, 1 sacrificial sunsinger warlock to take the hit and keep everyone else from having to wipe if someone screws up on sisters and the clock runs down as she dies. The rest of the team doesn't matter those 3 are the heavy hitters.

6 RespuestasEditado por Autojive: 5/17/2016 3:20:53 PMIf anyone is interested in learning how to do the raid and raid challenges properly… My clan and I enjoy taking/carrying first timers through the raid all the time. We take the time to help you through every part or just get you through it for the first time. We are also always looking for new clan mates who love to do the raid. We do the raid many times every week. If anyone is interested in a laid back group to help you through the raid, message me and we’ll schedule a time to get it completed for you. We simply ask that you set aside enough time to do it, be at least 290 light, have a good scout rifle and sniper and be cool and considerate. That’s about all we ask. EDIT: Getting lots of replies... Forgot to mention we're on PS4.

3 RespuestasHold up. You expect me to believe that you got all the Kings Fall armor in the first week. You lucky bastard.

1 RespuestaDid it for the first time today. On hard. Two people had to leave at oryx so if anybody wants a checkpoint, I'll be on Sunday. Still a noob though. We had a few runs at him so I'm getting the hang of it. Not too bad. Just ask you bear with me.

I jump all the time

I haven't ran a raid in a long time. I figure it's in my best interest to run normal first as a refresher before hard. Eventually I want to do hard though

3 RespuestasEditado por CooPehLooP: 5/17/2016 10:49:37 PMMy rules for raid have refined over the last few months. Now, there are only two rules/requirements. 1. be comfortable performing any role in the raid. 2. cause two wipes and that player is removed from the raid Everyone knows the rules up front so no one has a valid reason for getting mad. Very efficient groups result.
-
Or just inform people it's your first time. I've had people whom never done the raid before understand the mechanics better than players that have done it
-
1 RespuestaAre you on ps4
-
You know, I'm going to do it.. *jumps*

It's been that long since I did normal that I can't even remember how to do any of it, never even tried hard mode
-
1 RespuestaI didn't really agree with this until today. we had a 330 join us at totems and got through it without a problem and when we get to WP he gets the first aura and the proceeds to die and tell us hes never ran the raid before. like you im more than happy to teach and help but not on hard and not on challenge.

5 RespuestasWait light level doesn't matter? Year 1 weapons it is then...
Sarcasm intended, of course.
You need to simmer man

True. Mechanics and teamwerk...easy. I got 335 awards doing NRML raid helping a new guy out. HM is a leeeeetle harder. The Kinghts and whatnot. Still...it's just a jump...to the left. 1. Shadowshot thralls. 2. Go to assigned plate or middle if you're a Titan MasterRace. 3. Throw grenade at ogre next to you if on plate, kill said ogre if Titan MasterRace in middle...one of 4 for Titan MasterRace. 4. Kill kinght opposite your plate. Kill any acolytes. Wait for verbal signal from Runner to move to middle. 5. Kill Vessel and shoot oryx worm vagina. 6. Wait for Shadowshot. Kill adds. Kill Kinghts on platforms. 7. Kills adds and Shayde. 8. Repeat 3 times. 9. On the count to 37 proceed to blight and wait til you see your name 4 times. Go back to middles. 10. Shoot oryx vagina.

I've dealt with too many people that beat normal once and thought they could just jump into hard. My worst run in was before they patched the totems cheat. I had a group that tried maybe twice and then started going on about how they have to cheese it. They wouldn't even listen to my friend oe myself about how it's not that hard if you just kill things and help each other with the knights. Either way we got through that and warpriest easily enough and surprisingly. And then they couldn't do golgeroth. My friend and I kept trying to help then and give them suggestions, but it's apparently hard to listen. So after a while we both said screw it, made up excuses and left.

Editado por Nickey: 5/18/2016 10:51:52 AMHard Mode is not "hard" at all, though. It'd actually be easier for someone to learn Hard Mode first since it only throws a few added mechanics at you compared to normal mode. The only difficulty is learning the BASE mechanics, then moving on to the additional HM mechanics which ranges from learning how to hide so the Warpriest doesn't blast you with his black ball of death, to learning how to walk away from another player so you don't kill them (wow, so challenging) to even... gasp] sniping a single Knight..!

Never done hard mode but I have done normal mode many times. When I try to get a team this little kid keeps asking if he can join. I ask if he has done normal mode and he says no.......yep finding teams can be difficult
-
1 RespuestaTrue but at this point with the light level the way it is, hard IS normal now.
-
Honestly, the mechanics in HM are not bad at all and some fights really have nothing new. Correct me if I am wrong, but Golg, Warpriest, Totems, and gate entrance are practically the same. Sisters just gotta be fast cuz timer starts automatically, and Oryx just had light eater knights. Granted, i do come from wow where DBM was a must and you had to keep 5 different mechanics in mind while executing your dps rotation. Fun stuff. HM is really all about focus and actually knowing your class, well, mostly weapons. Ex: If you are on platform duty for HM Oryx a sword may be a good thing against those knights, or perhaps a sleeper (headshot), or a LMG.

3 RespuestasAnd who the -blam!- cares? You're 6 months late bud. Congrats.

This. I'm pissed at the time I waisted tonight with players who don't know the raid mechanics yet are jumping into HM.

I guess I've already lost...
