When he quit, We were down by about 1,000 points in salvage. He then rejoined the game but was placed on the opposite team and decided to start t-bagging a teammate (as if he was the reason they were in the lead).
This usually is fine for me and I let it go, but the fact that he quit our team and then re-joined the game and was placed on the enemy team who was in the lead at the time, and proceeded to t-bag a mate... This activated something in me.
I proceeded to bagging so hard every time we killed them the rest of the match... I bagged so hard and often that we Bagged our way to winning by about 3k points.
I messaged the traitor and said (in a polite and ironic kind of way)... You should have stayed on our team man.
(I figured he'd say good game and I'd say good game back and all would be right in the world but then he responded)
He responded... Says a lot that you messaged me kid, want a cookie, you Salty douche.
(naturally this caught me off guard as I wasn't trying to be douchey in my initial message, but now I'm kind of annoyed)
I responded,... Nah, I just thought it was funny that you quit on our team to join the leading team only for me to kick your a$$ after t-bagging us.
(now I'm fully expecting some trash talk and decided that I wouldn't let him get the last word because... Reasons)
He responded...Why are you messaging me kid, go get some pu$$y or something.
I responded... Been married 5 years kid, I've got that covered.
He responded... Kill yourself, you must have no friends.
I responded... Yeah I'm bored...I've tried killing myself, but that self res keeps me coming back though. You aren't getting the last word here... I'm fully committed to trolling your traitorous a$$.
Time goes by.
More time goes by.
I message him... GG.
The end.
"Edit" I understand that he couldn't choose the team he joined after he left and I understand he could have been booted... That's has nothing to do with how he reacted...
The point for posting was the irony of a guy who most likely quit on his team, who then started t-bagging the team he left because they were losing only to lose against the team he left and then respond like a douche to what was essentially a GG message pointing out the irony of what happened.
I was laughing the entire time, but I'm glad that there is a wide variety of responses from the guardians out there... Some can relate to similar scenarios, others think it's childish, while other still enjoyed it for what it was intended to be... A story of irony and one of not reading people's harmless messages like they are threatening to kill your first born. Also don't tbag unless you are fully prepared to face a more focused and determined oponent when doing so... And also maybe don't quit right away of you are down early in a match.
The fact that this is trending is also interesting. (This is such a pointless, useless post haha)

1 RespuestaProbably network issues and was kicked and rejoined. How do you know he wasn't tbagging the other team when he was on yours? I love how salty and annoyed people get over tbagging. So much so, they need to message them about it!

3 RespuestasI had a similar thing happen I was playing clash on black shield. It was a close game 15 points away from losing so I have a punch fight to the death with this warlock to win. After the game he messaged me stop using full auto controllers I know the guns you were using arnt fast firing ya cheater go kill your self. The best part I was using pocket infinity and a dis-47 with full auto. I message him saying look at the weapons again before you get enraged. His response was stop using op meta. All I could think was what meta was I using vanilla destiny?? Oh well just wanted to share

6 RespuestasI had a similar thing but in trails. So me and my friend were looking to go flawless, we knew we could, I go on LFg and find this kid, saying hes good. I invite him, to the game, he messages me saying, " Any of you gone flawless?" Im like, " No, But I have 1.4 kd and hold my own weight, can even clutch 90% of situations." He responds, " Wow, you guys suck, im outta here, -blam!- you scrubs, I wanna go flawless for real". He leaves, I laugh and another friend tells me to invite him, I invite him and we go do trails matches, were already 7-0 no mercy. Guess who was our next opponent, the kid who left our fireteam saying we suck. We face an in epic battle ( Not really we destroy them 5-0) I take them out all with last word and a sniper in one round, my friend self rezes and kills them all in a round, basically we wreck them and teabag them in the end. He messages me saying, " Im sorry dude, I doubted you you are good dude, hey invite me these guys suck they said they would help me go flawless, can you help me?" I respond, " Dude, we have never gone flawless at all, yet I melt, if you go flawless or not doesn't mean your good or bad, go find someone else who will love to carry your sorry ass." he responds by saying, "Wow okay" and he never responded again.

I don't care if someone tbags my character in a game. If anything I'll laugh at their attempt to rile me or my teammates up. To me it seems you kept it going by messaging the guy. Yeh, he started it with the daft tbagging but you're the one that felt the need to take it further than the game and send a politely worded but still ultimately a 'rub your nose in this' message. As soon as that happened it was likely to end exactly like it did. -
2 RespuestasWell if he lose against a guy with a negative k/d (you) (0.8) he deserves what he gets

3 RespuestasWhy even message in the first place? It's a video game loser, so what if he tbags you. "Oh, he placed his digital junk on my digital characters face. That hurts my feelings and makes me mad." Then you go on to continue messaging the dude back. Bruh, you that lonely? Get over it, it's a stupid video game. He left your team. Was put on the other. They lost you won. Why the hell you care so much?? 🙄

9 RespuestasI once got messaged about only using my Monte Carlo and Melee in Elimination. My team wins but at the begining of each round they smack me a few times before I dash off to go Warlock slap some Guardians. After the match I got messaged about playing as a team and using my sniper. I simply responded with. "I got more kills than you, we won oh and Brimstone is awesome"

1 RespuestaI got a hate message after a game once (can't remember what it read) but I didn't respond. About 2 mins later I got another message saying "sorry, just jesting" Then a friend request from said troll. He'd killed me, proceeded to teabag and I self res'd and smacked him for the "final blow"
I didn't add him
