"Okay, but that wasn't the question. What I'm asking, is why are you on my ship?"
English
-
"I was bored, mostly. Can't just step away from this life, right?"
-
"Boy, get your ass off my military craft, we don't allow civvies onboard."
-
"This ain't the first military vessel I've been on before, son. I'd also recommend not calling me boy, because of the whole age gap."
-
"Alright, you want to get off my craft before I gun your ass down sir?"
-
"I'll get my things and find a room."
-
"And I'll be sure to terminate you. Get off my ship."
-
"Nah. It might be a bit messed up, but hey, a little DIY never hurt anyone."
-
The figure moved like lightning, his arm unable to be tracked by any of the Legionnaires that surrounded them. Next thing Deceiver had been able to process, there was a barrel for a crimson red revolver pressing itself against the side of his head. "Unless you have a faction to ally with, a will to be a Legionnaire, or Genesis information, I want you off this vessel. Else you'll have a .44 round through your skull."
-
Deciever sighs and mutters "If I had a nickel for everytime I was in this position." He looks up from the ground "I did share a fair bit of space with several Genesis for an extended period of time."
-
"Explain." One word was uttered. One simple thing, demanding the knowledge he contained. The figure moved his revolver away from him, although he did keep it resting in his left hand, pointed at the floor.

"Well, way back when I was 40, I joined up with Fireteam Axion, if I remember correctly. At the time, the current Genesis members were Murph, Phantom, and Python. Things happened, and the crew dispersed, and then a second team formed. Then there was a new crew of Genesis, and Python and Phantom were still around. Then the team died, resurrected and I have no clue as to where everybody is as of this day." He squirms on the ground "Can I get up now? Not good to be thrown around at my age."
-
"Get on your feet... Well, what's your name lad?"
-
He dusts himself off and holds a finger up "I'm supposed to be the one with hearing problems, son. Deciever."
-
"Alright, didn't hear Silver, Evelyn or that one Genishit mention you, although I'll take your word for being on there... Anyways, what did you need on my ship? A room?"
-
"You got it."
-
"Head to the barracks, you're living with the rest of the crew until we get back to the Legionnaire base on Anxtria II, where we can get you to earth safely."
-
"I'll take it. Say, if I want to stay on board, what do I do?"
-
"Stay on? Like, join up with the Legion, or stay as a civilian?"
-
"Well, I need to do something with my life."
-
"We'll take you back to the base and run you through initiation. If you pass, you're a Hunters Legion operator. If you fail, we'll knock you out and send you to Earth while you're out cold. Deal?"
-
"Sounds fine. By the way, are there any issues with me having some, ahem, holdings in criminal affairs?"
-
"I am the highest ranking general in the entire Republic, the only man surpassing me is the president himself. Of course there are... Though I will turn a blind eye under certain conditions."
-
"Let me guess. You want 40% of all revenue."
-
"No, what I want is simple: If we need you to dig up information, or back up up, we need to count on you to help the Legion in whatever ways you can. Deal?"
-
"I'll take it."
