Honest question.
Every time someone asks about it I always tell them I play at 1 sensitivity.
They always make comments saying "Wow how do you get kills?" or "Do you take acid or speed or something?"
I honestly don't get why this is seen as a bad thing.
http://destinytracker.com/destiny/player/ps/SonowRaevius These are my stats and I have been playing at 1 sensitivity ever since the Halo days.
Edit: For those wondering I actually use shotguns and fusions as my secondaries, but over all I use my primaries more than anything else.
Edit 2: http://destinytracker.com/destiny/crucible/ps/SonowRaevius this leads straight to my crucible stats...guess I should have posted this first...

1 RespuestaDo you play on a monitor? When I made the switch from TV to monitor, I had to adjust my setting down 2 notches....shit felt too fast....But, if I were to use the same setting on TV it would feel too slow.
-
1 RespuestaDo you use a mouse/keyboard?
-
Imo it doesn't matter what sensitivity as long as the person is comfortable and at their best using it
-
1 RespuestaHow do you manage surviving in raids when you turn so slow? Serious question
-
Glad to see I am not the only one who plays at 1. Sensitivity 1 for PvP and 3 for PvE
-
1 RespuestaI play at the highest and it's still too slow
-
1 RespuestaInteresting post i did read most of them and i am at 5 at the moment but i have a question i have an injured Thumb right hand( called Trigger Thumb) probably cause is the little movements your thumb makes all the time i wonder if it would help if i put the sensitivity to 1 then u have to move your stick more to have the same results as moving it less at a higher sensitivity anyone idee's

The option is their so people can pick what they feel happy with, don't worry what others think.
-
My god, just use what you want! Seriously. Nobody can tell you what to use, and there is no need to conform to what other people say/use. If you play well and have fun on 1 sensitivity, than by all means, use it my friend!
-
1 RespuestaI play at 10 and it's such an advantage over players who can't rotate as quickly I love it
-
1 RespuestaThat's just too funny
-
My brother and I both do. We both play to a 2 KD. Been doing it since Halo:CE. Actually, he has, I used to be a 5 and was the shotgun/rocket man. But then years of playing 1 sensitivity on CoD and now it works well for me in Destiny, too.

4 RespuestasSuper weird. Certainly not bad. Joke around with my buddy who does this. Plays inverted too xD
-
Playing smart > sensitivity choice The majority of low sensitivity players are much smarter and more skilled. They don't need ridiculous turn speeds to win.
-
Do you douse yourself in thick maple syrup while you play as well?
-
1 RespuestaOh and one thing you can do to see if you're at the right sensitivity is to record crucible interactions wherein you lost a 1v1 situation. Watch it to see if you're "over-aiming" (i.e., the aiming marker is moving past your target and you have to move it back). I know a lot of people know this but I'll mention it just in case.
-
8 RespuestasIf you try to shotgun at that sensitivity, you'll probably get destroyed.
-
I always play on a 1 sensitivity, nice to see that someone else does to. But I also snipe, and have always sniped. I hear shotgunners play on higher sensitivity but since I'm a KD whore and a no life I tend to stay away from shotguns.
-
1 RespuestaBut isn't it slow?
-
Played at 3 forever , teaching myself to play at 8 now cause I feel it'll help when I go back to three and be more precise
-
I play on 1 with a 70 inch tv and my buddy laughs about non stop...
-
I play at 10 and its slow
-
I play on 5 1 is to slow 10 is to high imo Play with what youre best with -blam!- anyone trying to tell you how to play YOUR game...
-
If you can land your shots who cares what sensitivity you play on
-
5 RespuestasPlaying on a 1 sensitivity is a trade off. On one hand, if you are trying to hit a target far off, with a sniper or scout, it's easier to do slight readjustments to get a headshot. On the other hand, it slows your ability to react to tough situations. Like if someone starts shooting at you from behind, you won't have the time to do anything. And if someone is shooting u with high caliber or explosive rounds, you won't be able to realign your shot due to the massive flinch. Basically you trade reaction for precision. And if you go with a 10 sensitivity, you trade precision for reaction. And in the end, it's all about play style. Do you prefer reaction or precision? I, myself, roll on a 5 sensitivity on my Xbone, and 6 on my 360. It is the perfect balance between precision and reaction for my playstyle. If your playstyle is a 1 sensitivity, then go with a 1 sensitivity. #TitanMasterRace

Low sensitivity for sniping High sensitivity for shotgunning
