And this is just baby maths. Let's see it.

I know that nothing you do anymore isn't bait but I'll take one for the team. 10*6/2 implies the area must be 30. But then the two legs x,y must be x*y = 60. With the Pythagorean theorem, x^2+y^2 = 100. Solving the two equations simultaneously yields imaginary solutions.

I'm getting too old for this shit.
I'm 23 by the way.
There was a typo in the textbook.
Without really thinking about it, you would come up with 30. Unfortunately, you can't have an altitude of 6 because the largest possible altitude you can have in a triangle that has a hypotenuse of 10 is 5.
3 Respuestas30 isnt it, are you talking about the whole thing, one bit, or should i go to bed?

-
I got 24
-
6 RespuestasWell it depends which triangle we are talking about. If it's the whole one, then (1/2)(b)(h) = (1/2)(10)(6)= 30

You lost me at math.

You must indubitably carry the 1

1 Respuesta24 No wait, I got something funnier!
25!
No solution, that can't be the altitude.

Area of a triangle =B*H/2 B=Base H=Height

Editado por Alpha: 5/2/2016 12:22:03 PMAh screw that. It's maximum area is 25. Therefore there's no right triangle in that picture.
