Okay whether you like the gun or not, (which most players in destiny don't want another nerf to their precious crutch weapons) that gun is broken as -blam!-. The whole archetype isn't just that one because it's stats don't reflect what actually happens with the gun. Let's talk about range and stability. When you use an auto rifle in destiny, 9/10 you're going to have to give up one or the other. With doctrine that doesn't matter because you can get perks like counterbalance and persistence in COMBINATION with braced frame and hand laid stock. Now excuse me for saying but that's just broken as -blam!-! Who in the -blam!- thinks this is a good idea to put those perks together in unison??? If anything, you either get rid of braced frame and hand laid stock so you can only have counterbalance, or you get rid of counterbalance and persistence that way you can have hand laid stock and braced frame. Next thing is that range. It needs to be taken down a bit so when used outside of it's range damge dropoff is severe because I've seen people getting sprayed way outside of that guns range and there's no explanation for it other than that gun's range stats not be reflected properly. Henec the reason for a bit of a nerf to the range. Once you do that, doctrine will be balanced.
