Prepare to PAY AGAIN for something you already have but don't have access to.
Good job Bungie, good job....
Edit: Can't believe some people are defending Bungie, it's a horrible things to see :'/
Prepare to PAY AGAIN for something you already have but don't have access to.
Well, you were right. We still haven't received those exotics, the new dlc is already confirmed to not be free (pre-order bonuses), and most likely we'll find them there. Good -blam!-ing job Bungie!

3 RespuestasTime gated probably like twilight garrison, or maybe just for added protection against data mining.

2 RespuestasHonestly, I'm really disappointed in myself. I was planning to screenshot the items in the armory because it did say "This item can be earned from The Taken King Expansion in Nightfall strikes, Kings Fall Raid, and Xur." Now it's impossible to find this information. Has anyone else taken screenshots of the full description of the exotics when they were in the armory?
-
I don't care

6 RespuestasAnyone who says anything like 'Bungie never explicitly said ...blah blah' are Bungie sheep and probably Trump supporters.

3 RespuestasTo anyone saying the ones in the armory may not have been completed I highly doubt it. Remember twilight garrison? Was completed in the armory with everything on it just like all the other exotics and when a glitched drop produced it for like two people Bungie was pretty much like -blam!-... Exact same thing with the tarantella. Bungie had no choice but to release or face massive backlash by removing them they chose to add them. So explain to me if Bungie originally planned to release twilight and tarantella why would they leave all the other most likely 100% completed exotics that were in the armory, advertised in the trailers, and promised when Bungie said we would get 18 new exotics 6 per class and instead we only got 4? (Legally though they probably counted the exotic class items as exotic armor)

24 RespuestasOf course........... The really stupid part was them being in the trailers. Not only did it seem like Bungie was advertising them with TTK, it also proved that those exotics were already created and in the game. Let's put this in another situation and see if it's still BS. You see an ad for a brand new phone. This phone has a ton of new features and apps talked about in the commercials about it. You look up more details about the phone online and see on the company's website all the features and apps that will be on the phone, along with a brief description about it. So you preorder the phone and once you get it, you notice it doesn't have some apps and features you saw. So you wait for an update about these missing items, but they never come and the company refuses to acknowledge them. Until later when they company says it will be an extra payment to get those bonus features. Both seem like BS to me.

4 RespuestasKinda like how the 347 vesta dynasty was supposed to be in the game a long ass time ago but now we have to pay for the taken wallet then get it

3 RespuestasEditado por WormChi: 4/18/2016 4:23:48 PMThe only reason they included TG and Arachnid is because there was a glitch in the loot system that had it drop for like 10 people. Since this happened they opened it up for everyone. They new at this point they had to release these and to compensate warlocks Xur "accidentally" sold Skull of Dire Ahakarma and they released the Ram. They obviously designed these exotics for pvp and to compensate for the new subclasses. Is this in their rights to do? Yes. Is it shady as fück? Most definitely. Keep in mind the next DLC won't be until the start of Y3, so we will not get these in TTK era unless there is another special event or time gated quest/mission. It's a bunch of BS if you ask me.
-
Fear not, those "taken" exotics will likely be available for purchase from Eververse about 2 months before D2 drops.... then they will be irrelevant. Oh, they will return half-way through D2 but you will have to "re-grind" to get them. Sound familiar..... remember G-horn? Luckily Eververse had not yet been implemented.

10 RespuestasEditado por LandwardSpoon69: 4/18/2016 7:19:29 PMDo people ever consider what the development process is like? This is an absolutely ridiculous argument. I hope someone tries to sue bungie, that would HILARIOUS to hear about on TV. "Extremely nerdy man angry that the 3D action trailer bungie showed as advertisement for their game Destiny: the Taken King, did not include everything showed in that video, the man also states that he should be able to jump in the air and as he puts it "use his fiery hammer and kill Oryx with one hit." He is also suing because he says "the hammers do not look identical." Who Oryx or his fiery friend are, no one cares." Two days later "the angry nerd who tried suing Bungie was taken in to custody, after the court room Session had started he began yelling out "I am a warlock and I want my helm!" The judge issued a statement saying "this is what happens when you have whiny fan boys, he'll be held tell he stops yelling about his warlock helm and to feel the wrath of his thunder." Also Bungie counter sued for court fees and won. Back to you Todd." Todd- "interesting day for gamers huh Tina haha" Tina- "some of the most entitled weirdos I've ever seen Todd, haha." Todd- "in other news..."

7 RespuestasEditado por Star Gazer2: 4/19/2016 1:30:29 AMWe learned something today, never trust any of Bungie's trailers ever again, they will always be false, all of them. Stretching all the way back to vanilla, the dishonesty was there. Even with the advertising of new exotics in TTK in full view, completely false. "Check out these new exotics armors our guardians are wearing! You won't get them, isn't that great?!" - Bungie. The future of Destiny where you can't trust a single advertisement about it. Even when they start trying to advertise Destiny 2, remember, it is false. You will not get what they show you.
-
1 RespuestaWe saw some of them in the trailers, we should have them by now. Bungo can throw kids on the water and desticles be like "yessss throw that lil bitch"
-
Chances are, they were trying to get them in but they wouldn't cooperate. Like the void and fire thunder Lords. Development sucks, things get cut, Boohoo, get over it.

1 RespuestaEditado por Gunblade: 4/20/2016 4:53:54 AMThis is why the wild gunblade retired. I stopped in to see if anything had gotten better... Nope. Oh well, at least the weather's been nice lately. And in other news my skin is starting to not glow in the dark anymore. PS I call them Bungle, since it's all they seem to fxcking do.

4 RespuestasOh man it's one of these things again. Question: If you already paid for services or items and yet you were denied access to that service or item. It would be some kind of fraud right? Or at the very least theft. Or if their sales pitch was somewhat misleading isn't that False Advertisement? I can't think of any country that does not consider Fraud, Theft, or False Advertisement illegal. Those who agree with the TC's statement why don't you guys get together and take Bungie to the court? That should teach Bungie not to wrong you like that! Someone must have thought of it before right? Why would Bungie risk doing such a thing? Then why is it still happening? Or is it because you know that there is no case? Is it because you know TC's statement is false? TC spreading false statement is also illegal. It's called defamation. Thankfully for you, you're no one important to have enough people care to read your statement or for Bungie to go after you. For future info though spreading false statements about someone or a company is a punishable crime for most, if not all, countries.

14 RespuestasYes those will be released when you purchase the winter dlc. I believe the title is "Pay Up Suckas"

I really don't need them anyway.

9 RespuestasArgument from Ignorance. We have no clue what Bungie is doing behind the scenes, yet we make overconfident statements about these things. If they wanted to advertise weapons and armor, they would have put them on a special list, discussed them, or given them descriptions, a lot like the previews for the April Update. The marketing team wants to fill up trailers with lots of interesting stuff and art. That doesn't mean that during the making of these trailers developers were giving the OK every step of the way. If Bungie wants us to expect something and get hyped for it, they'll say it plain. A couple glimpses in databases and footage should not be where the company's voice is heard.

I'm laughing at the people that think the exotics will be available from eververse. You guys must be really hopped up on conspiracy smoke.
