343 can't even do Firefight correctly
This is my last 343 related post, as I believe at this point the only people who support them have to be the die hard fanboys, and no amount of reasoning will get through them.
I remember a time when Firefight was about survival, and not a competition to see who can rack up the most points as they complete random objectives. Sure, Reach had score attack, but it was still survival.
It's just more evidence as to how out-of-touch 343 is to its communities wants. We wanted a return of classic Firefight. 343's constant desire to reinvent the wheel is just causing Halo's downfall.

Eh, I think they need to slightly reduce the amount of damage the AI does. Other than that, they just need two modes. One objective based. One survival based. Spartan Ops wouldn't hurt either.

I'm having some good fun with it, but it's only good for relaxing and drinking (something H5 desperately needed badly), so while this Firefight they gave us is the best thing to happen to H5 since Forge, at the end of the day it's still pay-to-win. I'm with OP on wanting the old survival FF back though.

I think Halo 5 has been outstanding. You need to realize that people actually just enjoy the game. You call everyone a fanboy just because they have different opinions than you. Logic.

Well maybe, just maybe it's because they added Warzone Firefight, not firefight and that's why it's different.

I agree, it feels more like PoE in Destiny more than the original FireFight. At least I got to finish the legendary boss takedown commendation along with a few others.
