The dumb ass fruits that the dumb ass tree has gave this world...Oh my, thinking the earth is flat I see? Well, apparently someone doesn't understand BASIC -blam!-ING PHYSICS!....God, why are people so dumb?

Don't insult opinion, because technically no one knows whether it is or isn't. Because if you think about it a bit you were told this knowledge by media and educative institutions. You have no way to verify the validity except by using other sources of the same knowledge that could [i]possibly[/i] sprout from the same incorrect source. This paradox can sprout and spread infinitely and today could be the result. Don't be quick to judge opinion because you never know who really IS right. I personally believe in science because I trust their judgement and massive amounts of evidence. I also like to accept new knowledge. You never know when the Atheists will become the equivalent of a Flat Planet enthusiast.

So...I guess all of the photos and satellite videos captured don't equate in this situation? Also the fact that Neil Degrassie proved that the earth is a sphere by just showing gravity? If the earth was flat, then there would be no gravity. We would also have one straight line view of the entire world as well. Example: Say I am in Missouri alright. So, if you were to tell the me the Earth is flat, I could see to some where all the way to some place like Texas. ~TheOkayNike

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I'm not saying you're right. You give me evidence but my point still stands and you haven't addressed it. How do you know these are valid? You're only thinking within the logic of others not your own.

Okay, my mistake. I miss read your post. Let me take it from what I understand then...Okay, so I want you to look at where you are standing. You see flat ground correct? If you were to go around the world, you would see hills and mountains of all such. Now yes, you could say. ''Well Nike, this could just mean the top of the earth is covered with mountains and all.'' ''This doesn't prove nothing.'' To that I say, Look at the Antarctic. North Pole and South Pole. If the Earth was flat, then we would be able to see both from either distance. But we can't. You know why? Because the Earth is in the shape of a sphere. If the Earth was flat, then it would also mean that we as humans wouldn't be able to stand or even walk for that matter. Gravity as I said in my other post, is a strong force that essentially controls our movements and how we move. Take Isaac Newton for example and his experience with the apple. If say the Earth was flat, then the apple would either not fall, or get crushed as soon as fell. The way our Earth is shaped let's what I like to refer as a '''gravity field.'' let's gravity not crush our planet. For my final piece of evidence and for which I don't get how people haven't mention this by now. If there was an edge to the Earth and the Earth was flat. Then we would of found it by now from the countless of people who have sailed and flew across the world. If there was an edge. The oceans would be flowing off into space. Do we see that? No. We do not. If there was an edge, there would be reports of it. That's all. ~TheOkayNike
