Should year one crucible return?
Do you think year one destiny crucible matrix should return? i.e. Thorn and last word and in general hand cannons being better than auto rifles. Also low rate of fire pulse rifles being better than their high rate of fire counter parts. And snipers and shotguns being reset to their year one levels. I miss y1's playstyle. I've notice that there are so much more stalemates in y2 as people don't seem to push anymore. Everyone stays hardscoped on every lane and the game isnt fun. Everybody always says how "sweaty" a game is or how intense the game was when literally the opposing team sat in head glitches and literally didn't let go of their scope.

A variant of Y1, yeah. Basically all weapon classes could use a buff to speed up gameplay. I don't know, I'd suggest faster primary kill times in general with focus on rewarding headshots with more damage and less focus on damage falloff at range. Primaries are supposed to be go-to guns and IMO should have the ability to combat everything provided a player has the skill with them. Only nerf I'd suggest is to bullet magnetism on primaries. Delete machine guns please, or make it to where their bullets aren't magnetic. Something, because they're too damn easy.

Honestly, coming from someone who never shotgunned, in yr 1 or 2, I miss the people who rush with a shotgun. It's better than the people who camp in the back of the map with mida and 1k stare.

The only reason Y1 is "winning this poll" is nostalgia. Y1 thorn meta was terrible. It was hell. Why would you want to go back. Thorn, TLW, shot package, blink shotgun, grenades and horshoes... felwinters. My brain hurts thinking of that long and painful meta.

Drop rate wise. If you're gonna remove reforging don't lower drop rates to 0.04%

Hand cannons were stupidly over powered, as using anything else put you at a huge disadvantage. Now we have good choices for every weapon type.

6 RespuestasRebuff revolver reserve ammo and remove the bloom time on revolvers. Rebuff Hawkmoon to what it was before the 2.0 patch. Keep TLW and Thorn the same and never bring Thorn to year 2. Middle rate of fire/middle impact AR's and low rate of fire/high impact AR's need a small damage buff. Low rate of fire/high impact pulse rifles need a small impact buff. Scout rifles are fine.

1 RespuestaThere was no such thing as year 1 crucible in terms of a single form. There were many changes at different times. In the very beginning, autos dominated all primaries including hand cannons.

Hc were a but op but the part I liked was the fast pace of the game, for example even in trials fast paced shotguns were a real threat and had to play accordingly. Now it's wait for special to spawn or use ib or a sidearm and the next round it's slow paced imo.
