True, especially today. But, you don't stoop to their level by being rude, just ask them to leave. I've never had to 'kick' anyone: I ask them to leave and the rest of us stop until they do.

I asked a kid to leave a party chat when he had joined on a friend. ( way to much background noise through mic ) He wasn't even playing destiny. He flipped out and yelled for about 30 seconds until I could get into psn menu and kick him from party. He spent the next 10 minutes spamming me hate messages. He is the only person I've ever reported to psn.

I'm typically not the fireteam leader anyway, but if I were if ask them to leave at least twice, after that I'm going to kick. I believe in second chances so I'd give them another chance if they wanted it and if they didn't change, they'd get the boot again.

Your policy, your choice. I always remember they are kids. I also always remember it's just a game. Their excitement is more thrilling than any game reward. Rude gets a free invite to leave. Disrespectful gets a free invite to leave. Kids being kids is part of life, I was one too many decades ago. Just my thoughts.
