Nobody even engages in gunfights anymore. Literally every match I went into last IB was littered with snipers, MIDA, and spam word. My question is why do you continually screw up the weapon balances every time you do them or for that fact of the matter any balance you do? You remember when SUROS was ruining crucible in the beginning? Yeah well that was OP but there were other OP weapons to compete with it. Furthermore, why attempt gunfights anymore when you do nothing to punish snipers for sitting back and sniping or watching lanes? Oh you put more flinch on snipers you say? Yeah -blam!-ing right. If you consider this more flinch I really have no hopes for you. Sniping aside though, everyone is literally running damn near the same setup. I mean I think I'm the only one I've seen not running MIDA and a sniper or Spam Word and a Sniper. You guys remember when thorn ruined cruicble? Yeah well I'd rather get thorned to death than have players sitting back all the damn time. This META is by far the worst out of them all. Fun weapons are non existent and everybody literally runs the same thing. In this game now, you have to have balls to run something else. Hell check my warlock I went in with a universal remote in control and laid siege to players left and right. In short, Bungie please get rid of this META. It's the worst of them all and I think a lot of players would be willing to agree your mulitplayer is so damn boring right now. Bring back actual gunfights and buff primaries again because pulse rifles were hit too hard and auto rifles still aren't as competitve as they should be (well the doctrine archetype is fine cause the damn thing is a bullet hose) and for the love of god return hand cannons to their original stability (but not spam word no you nerf the living shit out that things stability, I -blam!-ing hate it) because if I get into a gunfight with a sniper at close range and I can't keep him kicked because I have to wait for the next shot to stablize so I can shoot again, I'm already dead.
