This is actually really long for this type of game. Most games like this tend to die out or get a sequel. We are getting a sequel as well as a large update in April and an expansion most likely the size of TTK later this year.

"Large update" You guys will burn through the new content in less than a week and be complaining again soon afterwards. I've learned my lesson, I won't be back until Destiny 2 at the earliest.
