PvP killed Destiny.

Only PvP players cried for NERFS. You have never heard anyone that plays PVE on the forums complaining about anything other than lack of content. Armor, weapons and exotics have all been nerfed because some whiny ass PvP douche was in here screaming about being killed by a weapon. Eff PvP and eff all you crybaby nerfherders!!! GTFO!!! Destiny would be better without you. Edit 1- the Vex Mythoclast, TLW, Hawkmoon, Thorn, Blackhammer, Suros regime, pulse rifles, Lord of Wolves, Invective, Shot package, Fusion rifles, nothing manacles, aclyophage symbiote, the RAM, Sunbreaker, and arcblade have all died because of you. Edit 2- I almost forgot the greatest weapon of all, GJALLERHORN. You killed Gally. Are you dicks ashamed yet? Edit 2.1- I stand corrected on the Gally nerf. Edit 3- You PvP dingleberries seem quite content running around in circles, killing each other with whatever weapons haven't been nerfed yet (mida, 1kys, DoP), the come here and cry "Billy's weapon too OP, BUNGLE please nerf". Edit 4- When actual balance comes to town (SBMM) you cry because " It's too hard. PvP isn't fun anymore cause I always have to play people as good as me and i don't get to crush noobs. "Crucible too sweaty, BUNGLE PLS NERF. Waaaaaaahhhhhh. Effing loser d-bags. Edit 4.1- SBMM was nerfed because the Elitist Streamers/YouTubers demanded it. Their KD's were dropping and they weren't earning top medals anymore so under the guise of "redbars everywhere" and half hour wait times, they got their way. Bullshit. Edit 5- It's a well known FACT that BUNGLE has been devoting a significant portion of its resources to "balancing" PvP. Had those resources been dedicated to PVE, we would likely have new content by now. How many PvP based patches and garbage PvP events have we had in the past 6 months?   • PvP is an irritating experience for me. Believe it or not, the most fun I have with PvP comes from [spoiler]Rift[/spoiler] because it is actually fun and investing for me. I enjoy it more than all the other PvP game modes combined right now. Once I get my shadow shot multi kills done, I'll have to reason to go into PvP with my hunter

    • Great, yet another PvE idiot who blames people who want balance instead of the devs who created the problems to begin with. And of course said idiot blames PvP players for Gjally nerf when I would be surprised if there were 5 players in the world who asked for it to be nerf because of PvP. Believe or not PvP players want to have fun too. But when there are vastly overpowered weapons, it makes PvP horrible to play which is almost like taking content away from us.

        People wouldn't be complaining so much if time-to-kill was higher than 1.5 seconds on average, which is enough time to realize you're getting shot and turn around to see who it is unless you're some kind of expert. Halo's was perfect; great balance, gameplay, and just a great fight almost every encounter. I've read Call of Duty's is 1 second, which just doesn't sound enjoyable to me, and I'd rather be in a good fight where nobody dies than kill and be killed like we're not wearing any armor at all.

          • Sorry dude but SBMM is bad because it causes a lot of unnecessary lag since the people who are as "skilled" as you may not be in the same damn continent let alone the same country, infact any match making that is not purely connection based is -blam!-ing stupid.

                  I have no idea what you're talking about with saying Pulse Rifles or Fusion Rifles are nerfed to unusable levels. I use those two weapon classes almost exclusively, both in PvE and PvP, and they destroy lives when used properly. The thing is Pulses had the "god buff" at 2.0 and enjoyed a month of being massively OP. Where they are now PvP wise is literally no difference than before that, it's been 3 burst kill since va[b][/b]nilla, the most common archetype is still 3 burst. Two burst is still easily possible with perks like reactive reload on, which I abuse the hell out of on my Payment VI. In PvE they still get the fantastic buff to precision hit damage they got before, and even with the slight nerf to base stability they got previously there is a [i]much[/i] bigger selection of stability boosting perks than there has ever been before. Now, Fusions have indeed been hit hard, however the fact remains that anyone with a good sense of timing and map awareness can still make the Fusion an unbelievably powerful tool. Sometimes it's as easy as getting a different set of perks, instead of Hip Fire try for Feeding Frenzy for example. Since non-ADS shots aren't as good even with the perk anymore, being able to reload quickly can change the balance in your favor massively. For PvE, a Fusion offers more range, potential damage, and handling than a shotgun. Shotgun obviously gets the bonus of precision damage, however with a Fusion you can spray the bolts across an area much wider and hit multiple targets at a time. It all comes down to how you use the weapons you have. Believe me, I wholeheartedly agree that PvP nerfs are [i]very very[/i] problematic for PvE. But I DO NOT agree that [i]any[/i] weapon classes have ever been made useless by it.

                  • The only thing that I would change is the reason that ghorn got hammered. It got hammered because bungle figured out that it would chew through their uninspired bosses in TTK. It had nothing to do with social inclusion and gating. If they are so worried about making sure that no one gets left out, they just need to drop every weapon they have in the postmaster when you create an account. They haven't jumped on their white horse about people requiring ToM or a certain light level. Black hammer...everyone was saying that it should have been an exotic. What did they do? Nerf it and then make the Spindle...without white nail. Yeah. IB was just to make things take longer, The only thing that actibungle cares about is hours played. Take a peek at the shareholder's report and look at the emphasis they put on it, Grind=success to them. And they should have firewalled the two modes from the beginning. That way the two separate communities, and they really are, would be insulated from the other. In PvE you want to run through the AI and nuke everything. That should be the point of playing a game with aliens and really cool ship....umm loading screens.
