PvP killed Destiny.
Only PvP players cried for NERFS. You have never heard anyone that plays PVE on the forums complaining about anything other than lack of content. Armor, weapons and exotics have all been nerfed because some whiny ass PvP douche was in here screaming about being killed by a weapon. Eff PvP and eff all you crybaby nerfherders!!! GTFO!!! Destiny would be better without you.
Edit 1- the Vex Mythoclast, TLW, Hawkmoon, Thorn, Blackhammer, Suros regime, pulse rifles, Lord of Wolves, Invective, Shot package, Fusion rifles, nothing manacles, aclyophage symbiote, the RAM, Sunbreaker, and arcblade have all died because of you.
Edit 2- I almost forgot the greatest weapon of all, GJALLERHORN. You killed Gally. Are you dicks ashamed yet?
Edit 2.1- I stand corrected on the Gally nerf.
Edit 3- You PvP dingleberries seem quite content running around in circles, killing each other with whatever weapons haven't been nerfed yet (mida, 1kys, DoP), the come here and cry "Billy's weapon too OP, BUNGLE please nerf".
Edit 4- When actual balance comes to town (SBMM) you cry because " It's too hard. PvP isn't fun anymore cause I always have to play people as good as me and i don't get to crush noobs. "Crucible too sweaty, BUNGLE PLS NERF. Waaaaaaahhhhhh. Effing loser d-bags.
Edit 4.1- SBMM was nerfed because the Elitist Streamers/YouTubers demanded it. Their KD's were dropping and they weren't earning top medals anymore so under the guise of "redbars everywhere" and half hour wait times, they got their way. Bullshit.
Edit 5- It's a well known FACT that BUNGLE has been devoting a significant portion of its resources to "balancing" PvP. Had those resources been dedicated to PVE, we would likely have new content by now. How many PvP based patches and garbage PvP events have we had in the past 6 months?

PVP didn't kill Destiny... Catering to the PVP crowd and emphasizing only PVP on year two has, however, made the game a lot less enjoyable and has chased many people away.

1 RespuestaPvP is way easier to manage then world building, storytelling and enemy AI. PvP fans have done near-irreparable damage to several sectors of the entire gaming industry. I dread the days when PvP-only games start becoming common. At that point video gaming as we know it will be dead. Might as well go outside and play a sport then... might actually impress a girl in the process.

Your the man and dead right... They are a bunch if scared children who's only positive thing in life is a game they cheat at or over power less skilled players at. They are terrified of playing other like skill players bc they know they can't hang. They talk about how easy it is to make it to the lighthouse but fail to see they don't beat any other high skill teams to get there. BUNGIE SHOULD MAKE IT A CBMM AND SBMM SYSTEM! It then will police itself and more people will play PvP

Black Hammer got nerved because of PVE it was way to overpowered and lord of wolves got a buff and is still great in both pop and pve and the ram is almost the same u can still survive shoulder charges with it shot package was garbage in pve same with nothing manacles same with aclyophage and thorn invective is still a beast in both pulses are still really good in pve Vex is also still pretty good in both same with hawk moon in the last word was always a pve exotic the only thing that needs to be unnerved is fusion rifles

They haven't been able to implement simple stat updates to several underpowered weapon archetypes in the last 12+ months, what makes you think that they could churn out PvE content? They're incompetent. At the end of the day, they made bad choices and have done nothing to follow up. That's not the fault of the players, that's the fault of educated, grown men with shitty work ethics. They possess no drive or no sense of immediacy and that's the direct fault of management, not a Huntard that got zapped with a Mythoclast one too many times.

ToO, weekly bounties, crimson doubles, and many other things have kept this game interesting. More than doing the same raid over and over and over and over again (doing the same thing) until your eyes pop out.

2 RespuestasI called for the removal of gally bc it was so op and I was getting extremely annoyed with ppl whining that they didn't pull it out of the chest or it didn't drop and ppl using it as a requirement for everything pve. No, pvp is not to blame for killing destiny. What is killing destiny is the community and the game designers. It's on the community because in general the masses are dumb AF, exploiters, cheaters, and meta players. The game designers refuse to balance the game, they LOVE metas, and cater to the masses for money.

I consider myself a pvp player and have had to severely reduce how much I play because of the frustrating and severe lag the SBMM has created. All the pvp events and patches haven't fixed it and have rendered pvp virtually unplayable for me as well as a large amount of the population. I think from looking at your stats that you just resent pvp players because apparently every time you go into crucible you get your ass handed to you. God forbid that people want half the game (crucible) to actually be fair and fun to play in a way that doesn't adversely effect pve players. Pve is easy as heck so who cares if weapons become slightly stronger or weaker because of crucible. If bungie saw it as a problem they would adjust their stats so they were kept seperate between pve and pvp but it's not even a problem. Cry a river scrub
