Best modern shooter?? Not destiny
Destiny is honestly a joke compared to these games. So which one of these was the best?
For me it's tied between halo and battlefield

9 RespuestasThose are all garbage. If you didn't play Black a decade ago, you don't know what a really great shooter is.

Gameplay-wise, Destiny is better than most of these games. Gears 2 is also better than Gears 3. Halo 3 is better than Reach. Black Ops is better than CoD 4 (WaW is honestly better than CoD 4). Killzone 2 should be on the list.

Unreal Tournament set the gold standard for competitive FPS post-Doom. Halo was good, and Call of Duty does a fair enough job, but very little compares to a 16 person Instagib match on a tiny little cramped corridor map with low grav and Unreal Tournament's signature running speed. You learned to have the fastest trigger finger and the best reflexes on the field or you got stomped. Glory days.

I really liked the first n64 starwars game (i think shadow of the empire). That was really underrated IMO and way better than battlefront haha
