Don't really care either way for the updates but im not about to complain and bitch about em either. Been gaming since NES, this is something new to me and it doesn't cost me a thing so why would it affect me in any capacity. I don't mind waiting for whenever they do decide to release the info because it really isn't that important in the grand scheme of things.
Bungie isn't your father or whore mother...
Not your wet nurse...
Not your best friend...
Its a company that makes games, you can play other games while you wait, go outside, or find a spouse / someone that will tolerate you. They didn't make a product that was intended to occupy your entire life, yes there isn't much to do in destiny now outside of the crucible and that's perfectly fine because this isn't the end all, be all gaming experience.
For those that hate destiny and bungie, that's cool but you still post here for "entertainment" or whatever pathetic bullshit you tell yourself to justify it. Its a video game and a company that youre acting like ex scorned bitches over, get over it and move on with life. If youre over 12 and "trolling" video game forums, you should probably do the world a favor and off yourself because I highly doubt youre a productive member of society. We need less useless morons wasting resources anyway

1 RespuestaI disagree with your tone, but I agree with your message. People think that The Division is going to be what kills Destiny. And The Division, with it's lack of a story line, repetitive gameplay, grindy loot system, and poor gunplay, it is actually a contender for Destiny. But there's no way that Ubisoft - Ubisoft! - are going to look after the game like we're seeing Bungie look after Destiny. They don't do what you want, they don't hold you at night and tell you that everything is going to be OK, but they do still look you in the eye during, and that's what matters. Ubisoft, based on their previous titles, will take your money, have their way with your Uplay (or whatever it's called now) account and toss the community in the trash. This post got weird quick, but I regret nothing.

Bungie does NOT give weekly updates...the community manager does babble about meaningless stuff though, I would rather they post nothing and just publish a good game
-
Well said. now its time to go find some booty.

Upvote.

1 RespuestaUpdates contain no valuable information anymore, thusly making them pointless
-
4 RespuestasI see your point....however. Don't tell us it's an update...if it's not. It was at best a summary of the weeks events down at Bungie's deny there is a problem office.

2 RespuestasEditado por Mister Nice Guy: 3/12/2016 4:05:54 AMDCUO, and weekly tournaments, in which they talk about the updates and some other stuff anyway. Also, Tera iirc.
this is something new to me
Wow, really? Welcome to online gaming.

Hey we're releasing a game! Here's a trailer! ...later... Here's that game! .... .... ...later... ... ... Hey we're releasing a sequel! Here's a trailer! ...later... Hey days here's the sequel!

4 RespuestasWarframe. And their updates give a ton of information to boot

You know you know

5 RespuestasI prefer the nes - snes days, no stupid fixes, you were stuck with what you got. I still have em.

4 RespuestasYes many... But even more ironic is that they wouldn't really need to anyway because 95% of Devs actually know what a roadmap is and how to make one. Last I checked Destiny roadmap wasn't even official. It was a damn internal leak. So I don't see your point.

had to deal with bf4 at launch and it would be months between Dice saying or announcing anything
-
Gears 3 did something similar for a while. It was in game even. Also defiance.
-
Warframe comes close
-
3 RespuestasBruh, even mobile game developers have weekly updates.
-
1 RespuestaDevs use Twitter. Devs post updates reguarding games on twitter. Gamers read tweets and stay updated with news for games

8 RespuestasRemember, it's not a weekly update anymore... That would imply updating, hence the name change. And to answer your question, tons. Often devs and publishers give daily updates these days. That's the advantages of Twitter and Facebook. Argument... Invalidated. Thread... Closed
