It won't be the number of planets or environments. It will be a matter of what you ate able to do and if it has meaning, even if that meaning is purely for entertainment.

Starflight was kind of the same. One of the first sandbox games. There was 270 star systems and 800 planets. Upgradeable ships etc. Explore, mine, encounter different species of aliens, capture strange animals etc. This looks pretty much the same, but on a bigger scale and 2016 style. The problem with Starflight was even though there were 800 computer generated planets to explore. It got real boring because it was just the same thing over and over again. No Mans Sky has 18 quintillion planets to explore. Not an exaggerated number. Sounds cool.....endless content. But these planets can only have whatever features the devs put into the game. So you are going to have billions of planets which are basically just the same thing over and over. Same creatures will be encountered, alot. Will see how it goes. Sounds cool. But looks like it will get boring, fast.

It seemed like it had potential but I've watched quite alot of videos on it, waiting for one video that shows you what you'll be doing other than flying around looking at things. Haven't seen one yet lol. All the videos are just, there is like a bagillion universes with a bagillion plants in them for you to explore. Ok but what is there to do on those planets? "There are a bagillion universes" " yeah I hear that, what is there to do?" There are a bagil. Oh forget it! I'll take it that means nothing! If there are any decent videos though put a link if you can. I really would like there to be more than just flying around.

Honestly it looks like it's gonna be like Galaxy on Fire, and I LOVED that game on my phone. Except now I can walk around on planets. So I will really love this game.
