Petition to Remove Thorn from the Game
Sign if you're tired of this gun
Lately everyone has been bitching because people are trying to make meaningful suggestions to make the game better.
Why is it that you hate the idea of changing things so much?
Do you really believe everything is actually balanced in this game and that people who are advocating for nerfs/buffs are going to mess up the perfect balance of the game?
I really doubt so...
Now if you did agree that the Crucible is perfectly balanced, you most also recognize that the game is the most balanced now than it's ever been because of NERFS and BUFFS!
So please tolerate the suggestions made whether you agree with them or not.

You're probs better than me, and honestly I've yet to encounter a problem with thorn in year 2. So quit being a little bitch.

Thorn isn't the problem weapon, yes it can kill in three body shots with burn damage added, or four depending if you r running a high armor build, but right now there are so many weapons that deal damage so much faster, that most of the time you die after firing off a round or two, unless you sneak up on someone, or someone has terrible aim. If thorn did have a change, I'd say make it where if the guy who applied the dot dies, then it stops. Heck that might be something they do to sunsingers. I like DoTs I find them enjoyable to use for my playstyle, I'm more of a mid range to close range type of player that likes to put pressure on people. Thorn as of right now, is too slow for the current crucible. At least I haven't come across any thorn users in 6v6 that belongs to mida and tlw, and the same for 3v3 I think I encountered maybe one guy out of 10 matches using it. I had fun mowing him down with doctrine and tlw. DoTs are fun and do serve a purpose in most cases, back when sunbreakers were super strong, I'd be the first to find him, why. So I could place a dot on him so his cauterize couldn't proc. Made him easier to kill once he couldn't heal. That is my stance if thorn received another nerf, just make it that. If you kill the guy who placed the mark of the devourer on you, the dot stops.

And this is coming from someone who loves Thorn. Probably my favourite gun, but it needs bringing down a peg if we're wanting a buff to all Hand Cannons. There's no need to remove it. In fact if the above changes are put in place I'd be comfortable with it being brought into year 2.
