How Did You Find Love?
Hey guys,
So junior in high school here (almost a senior, gah!).
I realize this is a lot to read, so those who don't want exposition, just skip to the bold.
Anyways, as of to date I have never had a girlfriend, had a girl like me back, or gone on a date with a girl. This has always been a problem for me since my friends all have (or just recently broke up with their) dates / first crushes / girl/boyfriends. While they keep warning me about dating in high school, something happened recently that caused this problem to resurface. That was Valentine's Day. You see, we had a bunch of teachers talk to us about love and crap I know nothing about, and they said that it is beneficial to date in high school because it'll (if nothing else) give you experienced for college and life. I have no clue where to even begin.

So how did you guys find your first love? How long did it take? How'd you know if it was real? Honestly, I'm desperate enough to try anything at this point.

So this seems to be more popular than I had previously thought. I've read countless touching stories with numerous bits of advice woven in them. Now for another question: How do you tell if it's love? (Please try and avoid answers like "you just do")

We were even in the same movie together without knowing it; she was with her boyfriend at the time and I was with my girlfriend at the time. Finally after me becoming very frustrated by hispanic women, I swore them off and decided to go for black chicks only. About a week later my sister comes into town and says hey I got a girl for you to meet. Funny thing is the day we were supposed to meet we almost blew it off cause she was sick and I was tired from work. We met and hit it off pretty quick. Two years later we were married. Now this is the part for you op. Love will find you when you least expect it. Stop stressing over it cause you're young right now enjoy being single and with friends. Also don't resent a chick for rejecting you just remember it's her loss, learn from what went wrong and improve.

2 RespuestasI need help to find it. Well, just advice. An amazing girl, we talk a lot but stopped for a while. Almost a month ago on Valentine's day, she texted me at around 23:00 (11:00). We started talking and got on the topic of valentines. Her's was her dog and mine was my couch. I ended up being her legitimate valentine. We've been talking ever since. One time we were talking and movies came up. I asked her if she wanted to see one and she started suggesting a date. Now in about 2 or so weeks I'm taking her to see Batman V. Superman. She also started hinting to me with things such as sitting super close when we hang out, calling me cute on a few occasions, and one time blew me kisses on Snapchat. I haven't asked her out and I'm not quite sure what to do, should I do it? I think I should but I'm not exactly sure... I'm pretty confident though.

Don't worry too much about it in school. I used to be in a similar situation to you. I didn't meet my true love until later on in life. When it happens, you'll know. Don't think about it too much.
