Invasion- PvE game mode.
(TL;DR at bottom)

Game mode layout-
All fights take place on current crucible maps. Depending on the maps location on the planet is what types of enemies you will fight. Because, for example, some parts of Venus are taken by fallen or vex. Or parts of Mars are taken by cabal and other by vex.
Now how this will play out, a cutscenes will start. I will be using the burning shrine for this play out...
Your guardians ship lands on the outside of the map. He turns towards the sun, covers his face. But then looks into the distance and sees vex in rows marching towards the map from the distance. Then the cutscenes will end.....
So you start playing outside the map with a count down on the corner of your screen of 1:00.
The map has crates for heavy ammo in the back. A turret is placed( has increased damage compared to the archeon slayer mini mission) outside. Also, the heavy boxes have a cool down of 5 minutes after using it. You go against vex for about 5 waves. First wave is easy with about only 30 goblins.
Next wave contains 15 goblins and 10 hobgoblin, and 10 harpys.
After that, 15 hobgoblins, 20 goblins, and 10 harpys with one golden minotaur.
Next wave will contain 10 reg minoaurs, 5 golden life ones, and 2 hydras.
The final wave will spawn 3 cyclops outside shooting at you from the distance. 20 regular minotaurs, 5 golden ones. Then a big minotaur in the distance making his way to you with. 5 goblins and 5 harpys spawning constantly once killing the first bunch of enemies.
Now understand these must have some replay value in it. So the thing would be every week to change the spawns and what spawns. Varying amount, etc. Now these would fall under a sort of vanguard strike type thing, except called "Invasion"(Obviously).
The system would try to put you into a group of 6 or 3 or you could do the solo version of invasion in which is less intense but still as difficult scaled down to a 1 man team.
Now once a week there would be a "Full on Invasion" which is this games types "nightfall". One crucible map would be having a full frontal assault...
I'll use the burning shrine again...
When its experiencing a full assault the waves would be different with more heavy boxes, and you would get dropped of with enemies already there. So you must clear them out while they have a better placement advantage. And instead of plain old vex they could be precursors now. (Yay, undying Mind all over again... :| ) Now every wave could just have more enemies and golden and what not. The final boss... Would be for example...
I smaller Minotaur but bigger than others by just a bit, with... Here's the catch...
A nexus type shield, which with his size... Could make him chase you around, but he's a bit slower than others and isn't a drugged teleporter.
Now here's the little bit hunting...
Once every so often a chest might spawn once the waves of enemies are dead, and tea bags have been thrown, and dancing...
You would have 30 seconds before the start screen shows up and your rewards. This chest could have legendary engrams, exotic, or the next big thing... Elemental cores. Which could be arc, solar, or void. Which you can attach to any of your guns making it have said elemental damage. Making it rewarding and want to do it again
TLDR: A new game mode in which takes place on crucible maps, and defending them from vex, fallen( Depending on the map). And each week the spawns would change so you don't get use to it. A nightfall of a certain map would be implemented, making it harder.
There is a 3 man team matchmaking or solo mode of it
Rewards would vary on map, enemies, and...
Elemental cores which are make any gun have whatever element your core was
