Sign here to reduce MG ammo. (PvP)
So as the title states, I think the amount of ammo you get from a single pvp crate is bs. I don't have the raid mg but I do have a btrd from y1 which is similar. Obviously I'm not using it in IB
It gets 90 ROUNDS IN A SINGLE CRATE!!!!!! That's a free 10 kill streak
Also, this seems to be a concern so:

No. And I almost always run rockets. What's the point in mg if you nerf the ammo.

People would use rockets if Bungie didn't nerf the ammo for them. 2 rounds is Crap. No point in using!!!! I been using my exotic arc sword. Least it gets over 5 heavy attacks

1 RespuestaI dont think the issue is with the ammo, but the different archtypes of lmg. For example the raid type shouldnt get anywhere near the ammo it does, due to the 4 hit kill potential and how easy it is to achieve, whereas something like the song of ir yut (max RoF) are kinda fine as is because they are worse than most primaries.

Well that sorta makes it harder to carry teams for players that do manage to get kill sprees with heavy, it's a game changer.

No way man you either choose a rocket to get easy kills or you stay out of trouble with a machine gun until everyone is done spamming rockets around the map. I mean honestly during most matches someone can get 3-6 kills with a rocket launcher. Someone who is using a machine gun has to be warry of the dbl team and rockets. Im not looking to choose the harder weapon to use and then only get 3-6 kills like a rocket launcher

Quillims (everyones go to mg) gets 62 WITHOUT armor. That is a 10 kill streak if you use it well.
