Xur is basically pointless. Let's fix it!
Remember when you'd be so excited it was Friday and Xur would be showing up with something interesting, preferably something you didn't have. Maybe it's just me but he holds no mystery now, no excitement. He's a 3oC farm for me and that's about it.
So I say add a random 320 item that costs a decent amount of coins. This way every week you're guaranteed to either go up in LL or at least have the opportunity to or infuse obviously. The best idea? Probably not but just a thought.
What do you guys think he needs?

3 RespuestasI used to set my alarm clock for 4am to wake up and check Xur on Fridays, it was that exciting to me. Now there are many weeks where I don't even know where Xur is.

Seems a bit unfair to basically give away a max. light item to players who have never completed kings fall or gone flawless, bungie are already giving out 320 ghosts like candy (hehe)

Have him sell engrams exclusively and bump up the possible LL from them to 320. Have Three of Coins be purchasable with Exotic Shards Exotic Shaders, that add armour effects like Blue Flame head etc Xur Questline and Bounties that involve Exotic Weapon/Armour usage.

Handing out 320s is a bad idea, why does everyone expect a hand out these days? If you want a 320 exotic then play the raid, do the post game activaties and infuse your exotics.

Yea I remember leaving work I was so excited he was selling suros regime. I had just enough coins for it. Everything was exciting then though. It wouldn't matter what they did at this point half the community would be whining and the other half would be indifferent.

That's a great idea, or at least 310 items. Worth maybe 50 coins? I dunno something like that.

I like the idea of bounties, I get why he doesn't sell 320's and I'm fine with that. But bounties and his own rep (for the nine maybe?) that unlocked some hidden quests like the gunsmith does would be a nice addition that wouldn't require too much work on Bungie's part.

He should sell legendary weapon engrams, exotics are pointless now....So are three of coins, Unless you still need certain exotics. And I have like 200 exotic engrams, let me trade these for legendary marks or something.
