35 three of coins. 2 drops.
Anyone see the problem here?
And yes I used them correctly, one before each ultra kill. (Draksis)
I'm pretty upset right now. I don't get to play Destiny much anymore and I just wasted a whole weeks worth of grinding on a chest and boot exotic engram drop..

I am pretty sure something has changed. I keep very detailed stats on 3ofC (over 150 coins tracked) and something has changed - either late Jan or early Feb., I think. I never use more than 1 TOC, never less than 25 mins apart (usually longer) I went from one every 5-6 when used optimally, to 1/2 that, I believe, and now that the drops are so low, it's getting hard to track correctly. It could be something indirect, *beyond the 20 min de-buff* that happened relatively long ago now. I don't know what, but I'm pretty sure that something has changed. Farming in particular (i.e. trying to go to the same ultra ever 25 mins) is not working as it used to, so I've stopped trying that. That may have been the goal. I think it's beyond RNG, because even with RNG, you start reaching the edge of probability after you spend 100 coins. Again, I'm pretty sure something has changed.

There's a 15 minute cool down after every charge. They started the cool down to prevent people from grinding ultras for exotics.

They have a cooldown.. You can't farm them anymore..

Bungie now has factors in place that prevent you from farming like this. Basically there is a cool down factor to them and instead of INCREASING your chances when you run multiple back to back, it RESETS your chances. This has been since about 4 weeks into TTK and about 2 weeks after the launch of 3oC. You had a run of good luck with them prior to this but that luck has officially now run out and this is the way it is.

Using three of coin are not consistent, the drops will differ one from the other, welcome to RNG. You will have to pop a coin before an ultra & cross your fingers. Some are more lucky then the next. I ran one strike with some guy on my friends list and he got an exotic first boss, I never got an exotic that day.

One time he even dropped 2 engrams from one kill and I freaked out. But this week I've noticed really weird lag even on solo story missions.. I felt like that was what was messing with it. Funny thing, 1 of the drops was a 290 warlock chest armor. And I'm a 307 Hunter..

I pop a three of coin if I don't get a drop, I pop another for the next ultra. I keep doing this until I get one. But once I get one, I stop using 3oC for a few runs (3-4). After a few runs without a 3oC, I pop one and I usually get another drop. I have 15 exotic engrams still waiting to be decrypted in my vault and 5 more at the post master. The only problem I'm having is decrypting and not getting what I want. I've so far have 9 alpha lupi, 7 garrison, 4 don't touch me, I don't know how many red death, and 6 peregrine greave. So I stop decrypting.

I got one on the first coin today and that was it for the next 4 coins. Apparently you have to give it 10-15 minutes between uses. I'm going to try that but it's a straight up scam, better off saving the strange coins for xur himself.

They debuffed 3OC if you use them quickly your chances get lower and lower of getting one they took most of the exploits out

Pop a coin every 15 minutes. Try farming the taken champions on Venus ( citadel ) or mars. Chances are an exotic will drop if you are the only one fighting the taken.

About what my drops are 1-15 So what's the issue?

They added a cool down to the 3oC. Rapidly killing Ultras has a decreased chance at an exotic engram. This happened just a week or two after TTK launched.
